Welcome to the Intuitive Heart Listening Practice.

I invite you to find a space where you feel comfortable and if it feels safe to do so,

To gently close down your eyes or soften your gaze at a fixed point in front of you and to give yourself permission to breathe.

Breathing in through the nose,

Out through the nose or mouth,

Allowing each breath to enter your body and allowing each exhale for it to leave the body.

And as you still continue breathing just inviting your breath to soften,

Softening in whatever way that may be for you.

It may be allowing the breath to be slightly longer and deeper.

The exhale to completely release and expel the breath before the next inhale.

The softening could be allowing different parts of the body to release its tension,

Its stiffness,

Its bracing,

Its holding.

Maybe allowing yourself to be and feel held.

And as you continue with your softened breath,

I invite you to see,

Feel,

Hear or imagine a light at the center of your chest,

In your heart space.

Just take notice of that light,

How the light presents itself,

Its color,

Or anything else that may come forth.

And with your awareness to your light at your heart space,

If it feels supportive you can also bring a hand or two to touch the heart space.

To connect with the light,

To connect with your heart.

And with every breath in and out,

Your light begins to expand effortlessly outwards.

Taking notice of where the light reaches,

How the color is as the light expands.

Taking notice of how this feels within your heart.

Your light effortlessly and graciously expanding to feel your whole body,

All parts of you,

Held with your light.

Continue with your softened breath as you breathe into this space,

Breathe into you,

And to bring your attention back to your heart space.

And to ask within yourself,

With heart,

What do you want me to know right now?

And to make internal room for whatever arrives,

A word,

A color,

A breath sensation,

An image,

A memory or something else.

There's no need to force clarity,

If nothing obvious arrives just rest in the asking.

And now ask,

What truth have I been afraid to feel?

And to pause,

To breathe,

And to let the heart respond.

And to ask yourself,

What else would you like me to know right now?

And to breathe into whatever arises,

To sit with it like a curious friend,

To take a deep breath in through the nose,

Filling the heart space,

Your light with your air,

Your breath,

Before releasing it out through the mouth with sigh.

Allowing your hands,

If they were placed on your heart,

To rest wherever they feel comfortable.

Inviting the body to move or stretch in any way it may need.

When you're ready,

And only when you're ready,

Gently opening your eyes.

You may wish to get your pen and journal and capture anything that has come from this space.

That has come from your heart's message.

So much love.
