Welcome to today's Evolve Beyond Limits meditation.

This meditation is all about connecting with your younger self and forgiveness.

Self-forgiveness is one of the most powerful things that we can give to ourselves and the people around us.

And often times we find it easier to forgive others,

More so than forgiving ourselves.

So today,

That is what this meditation is all about.

Allow yourself to find a comfortable position where your body feels supported.

Close your eyes.

And begin to slow your breath.

Becoming more intentional.

Noticing each breath that you take.

Inhaling through your nose.

And exhaling out of your mouth.

Allowing your shoulders to soften.

Letting your jaw relax.

Letting your body know that it is safe to be here.

It is safe to feel.

It is safe to heal.

And you are loved and supported on this journey.

Now I want you to bring to mind a version of yourself.

A younger you.

Maybe a version of you who made a decision that you still carry guilt or shame around.

A version of you who simply didn't know what they didn't know.

And I want you to imagine them standing in front of you.

Taking a moment to notice what they are wearing.

Notice their expression.

Notice how they are feeling.

What is written on their face.

What they are holding in their body.

Not with judgment.

But simply observing them through the lens of compassion.

Seeing them not for the decision that they made.

But for the purity of their heart.

And you slowly walk towards them.

As you make your way to them.

You get close enough.

And you kneel down or you sit across from them.

You ask them to join you.

And you look deep into their eyes.

And place your hand gently on their heart.

You take a deep breath in with them.

Sinking your breath with theirs.

And as you exhale.

You say to them in your heart or out loud if you choose.

You were doing the best you could.

You were learning and that's okay.

You didn't have all the answers you weren't supposed to.

I love you.

I forgive you.

I'm so proud of how far you've come.

You pause and you take a breath.

And once again.

You remind them in your heart.

Or out loud.

You were doing the best you could.

You were learning and that's okay.

You didn't have all the answers you weren't supposed to.

I love you.

I forgive you.

I'm so proud of how far you've come.

And notice how they begin to soften.

Maybe they cry.

Maybe they smile.

Maybe they just need to be held.

And so you hold them.

And you take a moment to whisper this truth from your soul to theirs.

You are not your mistakes.

You are not broken.

You are learning and you are growing.

And when you are ready,

You gently say goodbye.

And you let them walk away.

Not as a memory that holds pain.

But as a version of you that brought you wisdom.

And with a deep inhale.

And a deep exhale.

You let go of any residual shame or guilt.

Asking that it be cleared from your system entirely.

Opening you up.

To a new level of freedom.

Making space for your future.

By letting go of your past.

And now you can bring your awareness back to your breath.

Start to pull your focus back into your body.

Feeling your seat beneath you.

Wiggling your fingers and toes.

And when you are ready.

Gently open your eyes.

And as you walk through this day and any day in the future.

Carry this forgiveness with you.

Namaste.

Perhaps we can't change who we were but we can change how we see how we are, and, by extension, we can change our future, today. We forgive and we allow change. Thank you!
