Hi,

This is Stefania and let's have a gratitude guided meditation and we have some affirmations as well.

We're often so busy in our day-to-day life that we just don't notice how blessed and lucky we are.

Let's do this short guided meditation celebrating the good things and people in our lives.

Begin by finding a comfortable seated position either on the floor or in a chair with your back straight and your hands resting in your lap or whichever way is comfortable for you.

It's nice to be upright and alert and aware for this meditation rather than lying down.

Close your eyes and take a deep breath in through your nose,

Filling your lungs with air and then exhale through your mouth,

Letting go of any tension or stress you may be holding.

Take a few more deep breaths like this and allow yourself to relax more and more with each exhale.

As you continue to breathe deeply,

Bring to mind someone or something you feel grateful for.

It could be a person,

A pet,

A place or anything else that brings you joy and happiness.

Visualize this person or thing in your mind's eye and feel the gratitude and appreciation that you have for them.

Now take a moment to focus on the sensations in your body.

Notice where you feel tension or any kind of discomfort and allow yourself to release it with each exhale.

As you let go of this physical tension,

Allow yourself as well to release any negative thoughts or emotions that may be holding you back from feeling grateful.

Sometimes we have that,

Yeah,

But this thing or that,

We have that kind of thinking,

But let's just let it go.

Just let yourself feel unconditional gratitude as you continue to breathe deeply.

Bring to mind the smaller,

More mundane things in your life,

Things that you take for granted every day in your busy life.

It could be something as simple as a cup of coffee in the morning,

The sound of birds chirping outside your window,

A fridge that works,

Electricity,

Your computer,

Your phone,

Any other gadgets.

These small things,

They're little blessings.

They improve our lives.

Now moving on,

Think about the people in your life who have supported you and encouraged you.

Consider the ways in which they've helped you to grow and become the person you are today.

Sometimes purely unintentionally and sometimes intentionally,

But without asking for anything in return.

Feel the warmth and love that you have for these people and allow yourself now to feel grateful for their presence in your life.

Lastly,

Feel gratitude for being you,

For your health,

For the path that has brought you to where you are today.

You have survived and thrived to whatever degree you survived.

You're alive.

Be grateful for being you.

As the meditation comes to a close,

Take a moment to reflect on all of the positive aspects of your life.

Consider the many blessings that you have,

Big and small,

And allow yourself to feel a deep sense of gratitude and appreciation for all that you have.

And when you're ready,

Take a deep breath in,

Exhale,

And slowly open your eyes.

Let's close our time together with 20 affirmations to celebrate and continue to encourage gratitude in our lives every day.
