This session is designed to help you begin your day from a place of clarity, steadiness, and calm focus. Through gentle guidance and progressive relaxation, you’ll be supported in settling the body, calming the nervous system, and arriving in a clear, centered state of awareness. From this grounded place, a natural sense of confidence and presence can emerge, helping you move through the day with more ease and intention. This practice is especially supportive if you want to feel less reactive, more focused, and more connected to yourself as the day unfolds. You can return to this session whenever you want to start the day feeling clear, steady, and aligned. With gratitude, Josh

Take a few moments and settle into a comfortable position.

Let your eyes close gently.

Take a slow breath in and an easy breath out.

Allow your awareness to arrive here.

Feel the natural rhythm of your breathing,

The gentle rise and the soft release.

With each breath,

The body begins to settle.

The nervous system receives the signal that this moment is safe,

Steady and supportive.

Let your attention move to the top of the head,

A sense of warmth and ease spreading across the scalp,

Down through the forehead,

Around the eyes,

Across the cheeks and jaw.

The muscles of the face soften,

The expression becomes neutral and at ease.

Awareness continues to move downward,

Into the neck and shoulders.

They rest naturally,

Supported by gravity and breath.

The arms feel heavy and relaxed,

All the way down into the hands and fingers.

Each breath brings a deeper sense of grounding.

Now bring attention into the center of the chest,

The space around the heart,

A quiet openness.

From this place,

Let your awareness move gently into the stomach and midsection,

The breath moving freely,

The body responding naturally.

Down through the hips,

Into the legs,

All the way to the feet.

The entire body is present.

From this settled place,

Allow yourself to set a simple intention for this session.

Not a task,

Not a goal,

A quality,

Steadiness.

Choose the quality that feels most supportive for today.

Let it rest quietly in your awareness.

Now imagine the mind becoming clear and spacious,

Like a calm sky after morning light appears.

Thoughts may still arise,

They pass easily without pulling attention away.

What remains is a steady sense of awareness,

Clear,

Centered,

Available.

This clarity is not forced.

It emerges naturally as the body settles and the breath deepens.

From this clear state,

Begin to sense the day ahead,

Not in detail,

Just the feeling of being present within it.

There is space between moments,

Room to respond rather than react.

Your awareness stays centered as experiences move around you.

You remain steady within motion.

This is clarity in action,

Quiet confidence in motion.

Allow this sense of steadiness to deepen,

Simply present,

A calm inner orientation that remains with you as the day unfolds.

Take a moment to feel gratitude for this pause,

For choosing to begin your day from awareness rather than momentum.

This clarity stays accessible.

You can return to it with a breath,

With a pause,

With attention.

Begin to bring awareness back into the body,

Feeling the support beneath you,

The gentle rhythm of breath.

Wiggle the fingers and toes softly.

When you're ready,

Let the eyes open.

Carry this steadiness with you and let it shape the way you move through the day.
