With my limited powers and limited knowledge, I find that I can never measure up to the demands of gaining the securities and pleasures that I seek. This is why life seems to be a problem. Only when you reach thirtynine or forty, when you undergo what is sometimes referred to as the 'Mid-life crisis,' do you begin to understand this. Even though you may think your marriage or your job is your crisis, actually you are the crisis.

Om Namah Shivaya,

My salutations to Lord Shiva.

Namah salutation.

A graceful acceptance,

Graceful acceptance of the Lord in my life is namah.

This is based on the trust that the Lord is my well-wisher.

Lord means the truth,

Ultimately the ultimate nature of everything is truth.

And that is my well-wisher.

I can become free from all pain and anxiety by surrender to the Lord,

By the graceful acceptance of the Lord.

I have my own views on what I like and what I dislike.

What should be there,

What should not be there?

What should happen,

What should not happen?

What I should get,

What I should not get?

I have my views,

I have my opinions,

I have my expectations.

Unfortunately,

Many of these expectations have not been fulfilled.

And that has left a sense of hurt,

Sometimes rejection,

Sometimes resentment,

Sometimes anger.

This resistance,

Resentment,

Anger,

Frustration,

I have accumulated over a long time.

And that is what makes my mind sad.

Namah,

Graceful acceptance.

I let go of my expectations,

Of my demands,

And merge my expectations into the Lord.

Whatever the Lord does is in order.

Whatever has happened in the past has been in order.

Whatever is in the present is in order.

Whatever will be in future will be in order.

This is Shraddha.

Because Lord Krishna says in the Gita,

I am the well-wisher of all beings.

With that Shraddha,

With that trust,

I give up my resistance,

I give up my resentment to the past,

Present,

And future.

Whatever has happened in the past,

Which at that time I may have judged as unfair,

Namaha,

I let go of my judgment and accept that whatever has happened,

Pleasant and painful,

Gain and loss,

Success and failure,

Honor and dishonor,

All of that was meant to be,

Was all intended for me to learn and grow.

And therefore,

I have no resentment.

I do not carry resentment or anger because of the past.

I let go of the past.

Sometimes there is guilt on account of what I did.

I let go of that also.

Hurt and guilt.

Whatever is what I intended has happened.

I have no complaint.

I do not blame anybody.

I am comfortable with my past.

So also the future.

Whatever will come,

Honor or dishonor,

Success or failure,

Gain or loss,

Pleasure or pain.

All of that will have a reason.

I gracefully accept the future.

No fear of the future.

No anxiety about the future.

I am comfortable with the past.

I am comfortable with the future.

I am comfortable with the present.

Whatever it is,

However it is,

I will not judge anything as good or bad,

Desirable or undesirable,

Likable or dislikable,

Without any judgment.

Whatever is in the present is in order.

I am comfortable with the present.

I love whatever has been in the past,

Whatever will be in future,

Whatever is in the present.

With namah,

Graceful acceptance.

Accepting my life is accepting Ishvara.

Because Ishvara alone manifests as the situations and events in my life.

And there is no comparison,

No complexes.

When my mind is free from resistance,

From complaint,

From blaming,

When it is comfortable with what is,

Then the mind is at peace.

I am at peace with the world and I am at peace with myself.

In namah,

Graceful acceptance,

There is peace.

This peace,

Silence is the true nature of the mind.

Agitation,

Unhappiness,

Sorrow,

All of these are incidental.

The true nature of the mind is peace,

Silence,

Tranquility,

Contentment.

There is peace in my mind in spite of thoughts.

I am not opposed to anything.

I am not opposed to the thoughts in my mind also.

I gracefully accept everything.

In namah,

Graceful acceptance,

There is peace,

Silence,

Contentment,

Joy.

And that is my nature.

I am of the nature of peace,

Tranquility,

Joy.

This peace,

Tranquility,

Contentment is always there.

As the basis of everything.

With namah,

Graceful acceptance of what is,

There is peace,

Silence,

Contentment,

Joy.

If I visualize the form of Lord Shiva,

There is tranquility and joy on the face of Lord Shiva and that is the true nature of the Self.
