Do you feel like you don't have enough of something?

Maybe it's a material possession like money,

Or a certain house,

Or something intangible like patience,

Time,

A talent,

Or something missing in a relationship.

Pick one thing.

Now,

Imagine,

In as much detail as possible,

That you have that thing.

It's fully realized,

Exactly how you want it to be.

It's fully yours right now.

Imagine your day today,

In as much detail as possible,

With that thing present in your life.

How does life change now that it's yours?

How does it affect your home?

Imagine your day today,

In as much detail as possible,

With that thing present in your life.

How does life change now that it's yours?

How does it affect your daily routine?

How does it affect the people around you?

How does life change now that it's yours?

How does life change now that it's yours?

Definitely express your gratitude for this thing you desired and now have.

Who do you need to thank for this thing coming into your life?

Yourself?

God?

A specific person or people?

Take time to envision and thank each of them individually.

Lift your focus now to your breath.

As you inhale,

Breathe in abundance,

Fullness.

Imagine your life being full of everything you wish for.

As you exhale,

Breathe out scarcity and lack.

Let emotions like jealousy,

Fear,

Comparison,

And keeping up melt away.

Now place your hand over your heart.

Feel it beating.

Notice your breath enter and exit your miraculous lungs.

Notice the sounds around you made possible by your intricate ears.

Notice your surroundings and the great gift of your sight.

Notice your legs,

The way they move at your command,

Your arms and hands and all they make possible for you.

Thank your body for all it has done and will do for you for sustaining your life and your dreams.

What's abundant in nature and in your surroundings,

Wherever you are.

Now turn your attention inward.

What is thriving right now in your own life?

There's always something,

However simple it seems.

You have enough.

You are enough.

Next time you think of something you lack,

Notice how that lack makes you feel.

Try softening your body to it instead of tensing against it.

Imagine opening up your heart to the thing you want and to the abundance you already have.

Lovely meditation! I liked the focus on imagining the feelings that we want, experiencing gratitude as if we have that desire, and the transition to recognizing where we already experience abundance now.
