Awesome so finding yourself in a comfortable position you can be sitting or laying down taking a moment settling in to your body closing your eyes if that feels comfortable let's begin with tuning in to the rhythm of our breath feeling your body expand on your inhale and soften on your exhale taking a deep breath in through your nose and letting it out through your mouth with each exhale release any tension or stress you are holding in your body inhaling deeply through your nose filling your lungs completely now exhaling through your nose we will begin conscious connected breathing which is continuous breathing without holding your breath or taking pauses simply inhaling filling your body with air and as you exhale letting your body relax and soften inhaling again filling your body with this loving breath exhaling letting your body relax and soften letting your breath be your focus placing all of your attention on your breath feeling your body expand on your inhale and soften on your exhale noticing if your thoughts have wandered gently bringing your awareness back to your breath creating a continuous connected rhythm letting one breath flow into the next bring your full attention to the sensation of your breath entering and leaving your body notice the rise and fall of your chest and abdomen with each breath feeling your body expand on your inhale and soften on your exhale letting this rhythm connect your breath and body noticing any thoughts feelings emotions or memories that arise they're coming up to be seen to be felt to be loved and as we bring our attention and awareness to them we can allow them to shift and float away offering gratitude for this moment of expansion appreciating the shifts and changes throughout our lives appreciating this moment to be present and to connect within imagine a warm glowing light filling your body with each inhale letting this light represent confidence and strength visualize this light expanding outwards with each exhale connecting you with your baby with your loved ones on each inhale you can silently say to yourself I am strong and capable on each exhale you can say I am present and at peace noticing what words come to you on your inhale being intentional with the words you speak to yourself choosing a word for your exhale letting this word hold your attention as you move with the rhythm of your breath feeling your body expand on your inhale and soften on your exhale knowing at any moment throughout your day you can tap into the rhythm of your breath feeling this healing energy throughout your day as triggers challenges or pains arise taking that moment to tune into your breath and into your body we will end this meditation with gratitude taking a moment to express gratitude for yourself and the love you bring into your family's life reflect on your journey of motherhood and embrace the unique and beautiful role you play acknowledge your efforts love and dedication to your family your love and dedication to yourself breathe with love and gratitude beautiful and when you are ready you can gently bring your awareness back into this moment wiggling your fingers and toes bringing yourself back into this space
