Welcome to this womb tuning meditation designed to help you drop in and connect with the sacred part of your temple that is your body.
I invite you to begin by taking three cleansing deep breaths in through the nose and out through the mouth and letting these be the deepest breaths that you've taken all day.
As you begin to really settle into this now moment,
Connecting deeply with your beautiful body of bone and blood,
This beautiful vessel which carries your spirit and your soul in this lifetime,
Honoring this incarnation by deeply dropping in and connecting.
So once you've found yourself in a comfortable position,
Sitting up or lying down,
I invite you to begin to drop your awareness down to your room space.
Do this by melting and softening the muscles in your face,
Around your eyes and your mouth,
Releasing your jaw,
Muscles in the back of your neck and your scalp softening and into your shoulders,
Letting them melt and soften downwards as your awareness follows this softening over your chest,
Down your arms,
Down through your torso,
Softening and melting,
Bringing your awareness down to your pelvic bone.
This is made up of your mum's pubis,
The pelvic bone at the front,
Your hip bone to the side,
The coccyx,
The base of your spine at the back,
The whole pelvic joints and bone structure,
Holding this sacred space together and within there is your beautiful room,
Just letting her know that you're welcoming her into this moment.
You're dropping down,
Bringing your awareness so that you are settled into your room as if you can see and peer out from it.
And here just take some deep breaths as you settle in,
Feeling the weight of your legs,
Letting them soften into this moment and feeling yourself anchoring down into this moment,
Into your sacred space,
Into your room space,
This inner sanctum of your body and notice how it feels to land here today,
Knowing that every day it can be different,
Every day finding something new.
Begin to walk your awareness around your pelvic bone,
Noticing the energy here,
Around your hips and your muscles and your ligaments,
Your organs,
Just becoming aware of this space,
Taking a loop of awareness around the perimeter as you breathe and witness whatever is there.
It's all okay exactly as it is.
It might be areas of heaviness or numbness,
Of grief and there may also be sensations of pleasure and aliveness,
Just witnessing it this first time around.
And now venturing a second time around this beautiful pelvic bowl of yours,
I invite you to begin to smooth the edges,
Tending to your boundaries in your sacred inner temple,
Smoothing it with a beautiful golden balm of love and tender awareness.
Noticing how this feels in your body as you tend and smooth this perimeter of your sacred pelvic bowl,
Your room space,
Your inner sanctum and move around your pelvic bowl again for a third time in an act of prayerful attention,
How this space now feels,
Offering reverence and thanks to this beautiful sacred space.
And coming to the centre and making an offering,
A ceremonial ritual act,
Perhaps lighting a candle or maybe you see a flower or bowing in reverence.
Just feeling this centre now,
Beginning with your labia,
The outer and inner lips of your own eye,
Your pussy,
Your sacred entrance and gateway into your body,
Letting your awareness rest now in the vaginal canal,
The cervix,
This entrance,
This passage of connection,
A gateway for life and creativity.
Bringing your awareness now up to your room space,
Right in the centre of your uterus,
Feeling the soft comfort,
Comforting warmth of the lining of your room and bringing your awareness to what phase of your cycle you're in,
If you're still cycling,
Just feeling into what's alive in your room today.
Letting your awareness flow up through the fallopian or egg tubes,
To the ovaries,
Your right ovary,
Left ovary,
Breathing and noticing and then offering a blessing,
Letting her know that today you listen,
Today you'll be present to her needs,
To your needs,
The needs of your body which anchors your beautiful spirit here on earth.
And now I invite you to bow with your body or offer reverence and thanks in another way for this moment,
For this space.
And to breathe your way back to this moment,
Knowing you always have this connection with your room,
Your sacred inner sanctum of nurturance,
Of knowingness,
Deep wisdom.
I invite you to place two of your hands on your lower belly over your room or perhaps one on your heart and one on your room,
Whatever feels best for this moment.
Taking three deep breaths into your body and out through your mouth,
Welcoming yourself back.
When you're ready,
Linking your eyes open and sending you so many blessings for the day or evening ahead.
Thank you for showing up and being present with your beautiful sacred body.
