Hello and welcome to Sound Healing Meditations with Kate from True Sound.
This is a guided meditation podcast that uses the magic of sound healing to help you reconnect with your body's natural vibrational resonance.
My name is Kate and I'm excited to guide you on your meditation journey today.
So go ahead and make sure you're comfortable preferably in a lying down position covered in a blanket and an eye mask either using headphones or a good quality speaker and enjoy your next few minutes of solitude.
Today's meditation is an introduction to your four upper chakras or energetic centers that govern the heart,
The voice,
The mind and the spirit and their corresponding musical note played by the crystal bowls in front of me.
As noted in the previous meditation if you're new to sound healing this really is a great way to connect with not only the location of each of your chakras but also to identify with the sound wave that connects to each of them so that when you participate in future meditations you can easily identify which of the sounds speak to the energetic centers and more readily attained benefit from the meditation.
So if you haven't already completed the first meditation on your first three chakras definitely check that one out after this one.
Now let's begin with this meditation make sure that you're lying down in a comfortable position with your eyes closed.
Let's start with a fourth chakra which is the Anahata or heart chakra.
It is located in the center of the chest.
It represents love,
Self-love and governs our relationships.
An imbalance in the heart chakra can show itself in the form of depression,
Difficulty in relationships and a lack of self-discipline.
The musical note that speaks to the heart chakra is the musical note F.
Draw your awareness to the center of your chest as I play the musical note F.
Let's move now to your fifth chakra which is Vishuddha or throat chakra.
It is located at the center of the neck.
It represents the ability to speak and communicate clearly and effectively.
An imbalance in the throat chakra can show itself as shyness,
Being withdrawn,
Arrogance and increased anxiety.
The musical note that speaks to the throat chakra is musical note G.
Draw your awareness to your neck as I play the musical note G.
Let's move now to your sixth chakra which is Anya or the third eye chakra.
It is located between the eyebrows.
It represents intuition,
Foresight,
Self-awareness and is driven by openness and imagination.
An imbalance in the third eye chakra can show itself as a lack of direction or a lack of clarity.
The musical note that speaks to the third eye chakra is musical note A.
Draw your awareness to the middle of your eyebrows as I play the musical note A.
Your last chakra is the seventh known as Sahasara or crown chakra.
It is located at the top of the head.
It represents states of higher consciousness and connection with the divine.
An imbalance in the crown chakra can show itself as cynicism,
Closed mindedness and disconnection with spirit.
The musical note that speaks to the crown chakra is musical note B.
Draw your awareness to the top of your head as I play the musical note B.
Now keep your awareness on your chakras four to seven.
The fourth at the center of your chest,
The fifth at your neck,
The sixth in between your eyebrows and the seventh at the crown of the head as I play a melody of the notes for each of these chakras.
You you you you you you you you slowly bring your awareness back to your physical form just keeping your eyes closed start to deepen your breath make small movements wiggling your fingers and your toes and rolling the wrists and the ankles just pausing for a moment before opening your eyes and in your mind's eye bow your head to your heart's center and acknowledge and embrace your abundant vibrational being that gives you your magnetic life force.
Namaste.
