Beginning on our back,
The spine supported,
The eyes closed,
Softening.
Relaxing the muscles of the face,
Releasing the muscles of the jaw.
Beginning our back supported,
Our heart supported.
Beginning to deepen the breath as it expands through the body,
In the lungs,
The chest,
The heart,
The belly,
The neck,
The shoulders,
The upper back,
The arms,
The fingertips.
Feeling a beating heart in our body,
Feeling our breath entering and leaving our body.
And this practice of releasing this receptivity,
Reflecting on the day in a calm and peaceful manner.
Perhaps picking a highlight,
A moment in our day,
Then lingering for a moment in what feels good in our body,
The sensations of love and support in our body.
And trusting these true moments as the reality of our lives.
These moments of kindness we touch every day.
These people in situations that enrich our lives,
Adding meaning and texture.
And a few more deep breaths now,
Allowing our breath to lengthen our spine and spread through our shoulders and our neck,
Feeling the back of our head supported,
Relaxing our jaw,
Our chin in toward our chest.
And sending our breath into our belly.
And beginning to soften our extremities,
Our fingertips,
Palms,
Our wrists,
Our ankles,
Our toes,
Our knees and thighs,
Our hips.
And attempting to make our breath so quiet and so soft,
A whisper in and out through our nose,
Eyelids quivering,
Gently softening,
Maybe a smile spreading across our lips as we breathe here softly,
Gently,
And completely open to this moment.
And when we can completely open to these moments,
This is where our life is happening in these moments,
In between these moments.
And because we can relax into the present moment,
We can taste peace in the simplicity of being alive and content.
And healing our body with our breath,
Taking a few more inhales,
Enlivened with space and possibility,
The limitlessness of our existence.
And sensations now in our skin,
Where our material form meets the surrounding environment.
And where we end and our surroundings begin.
Where else in our body we can melt into the air around us.
And who and what does toutδΉεΎ μ¬κΈ° between us move into the open night atmosphere.
And taking 10 more deep breaths here.
Savoring each breath here.
Maybe it's not quite a take.
Maybe it's a receipt.
Maybe it's a gift of breath.
And feeling prana flowing in through our nose.
And seven more.
Feeling our body.
Calming and releasing.
Spaciousness in our body.
And four more of these healing breaths.
And taking in the sounds and the textures of our environment.
And an exhale.
And preparing for sleep.
