This gentle meditation will guide you on a visual journey into the center of your heart space. As we enter the space, you will have the opportunity to receive a message from your own heart, and complete an act of service for the heart space from the inside out. Trust your intuition and allow the journey to unfold before you. If you don't see clear visuals, that is ok and normal. Let yourself experience the journey however it lands best in your body. You will want to be comfortably seated or lying down for this journey.

Welcoming you into our journey today,

I'm going to invite you to take this time to really settle in,

Finding a comfortable position,

Either seated or lying down,

Maybe choosing to cover your eyes,

To bring in some blankets or pillows and just find the most comfortable supported position and closing your eyes,

Bringing your awareness into your breath.

And if it feels good for you,

Inviting in some nice,

Big,

Deep inhales and nice,

Slow,

Long exhales.

I love to do in through the nose,

Out through the mouth with an audible exhale,

But whatever breath feels good in your body today is just fine.

Just finding that breath and letting yourself sink a little deeper into your seat,

Making any micro adjustments to your postures,

Maybe dropping your shoulders an extra millimeter or two,

Sinking your hips down a little bit deeper into the cushions beneath you and just giving yourself these next few moments to be with your breath,

To be in this moment and to allow yourself to settle.

Right now,

There is nothing you need to do and nowhere else you need to be.

You get to just be here.

Let's begin.

Today I want to invite you to begin your journey,

Feeling into your chest and your heart center.

Just taking a moment to notice what sensations arise when you bring your attention and your awareness into the chest,

Into the heart center.

Maybe allowing your breath to fill up the chest space to help bring even more space there,

Even more awareness there.

I want to invite you to imagine right at the front of your chest,

Right at the center of your body,

Right where your sternum is.

Imagine there's a little doorway that appears there and just trusting your intuition,

Allow that door to appear within your mind's eye.

Do you notice about the door?

Can you see the shape and size and color of this door?

Does it appear as a traditional door or a part of your physical anatomy that can just open and close?

Taking in the details of this door and allowing this entry point to guide us into the body.

Taking a moment to imagine a small version of you can step up to this door,

Open it up and take a little step inside.

Once you land inside,

Take a look around.

What do you find underneath your feet?

What kind of ground is there?

Finding yourself exploring this space,

Taking your time and allowing the visuals to appear before you.

Are you inside or are you outside?

Is it floor beneath your feet or earth or something else entirely?

How large is this space?

Can you sense where the edges of the room or the space is?

Without the ceiling or the sky above you,

What do you notice?

How far away is it?

Just taking your time,

Allowing yourself to take in your surroundings.

If you find yourself in darkness,

Maybe seeing if there's a light switch or a candle or a torch or just allowing yourself to experience the darkness for what it is.

Inviting a nice,

Big,

Deep breath in the space.

Allowing yourself to begin walking away from the door in which we entered.

Walking along a pathway or a corridor or straight into the dark,

Trusting your feet to carry you into the center of your heart space.

You may find you have to pass through another door.

You may find that the world opens up as you arrive in the center of your own heart space.

Once again,

Take a look around.

What do you feel as you enter into this space?

What colors can you see?

Can you feel the temperature of the air on your skin as you continue to explore this space?

Taking your time,

Allowing yourself moments to breathe deeply,

To notice anything and everything that you can notice here.

And within this space,

I want you to find some device or some thing in this space that allows you to communicate directly with your own heart.

You may find that there is a particular object that helps you communicate with the heart.

You might find the heart itself or a representation of the heart.

Take note of this communication pathway.

Maybe place your hands in connection with that pathway.

And I want you to ask your heart if it has a message for you today.

Allowing yourself to receive any messages or gifts through this pathway of communication.

Allowing yourself to listen deeply,

To feel your feelings,

To receive this message in whatever form it comes.

And back through the pathway,

Sending your own love and gratitude.

For the message that was received,

For the existence of your own heart center.

Whenever your communication feels complete,

I invite you to step away from this communication pathway.

And once again,

Take a look at the space around you.

Using your own intuition,

I invite you to conduct a small act of service for this space.

This can be planting a seed,

Sweeping away rubbish,

Installing new windows.

It can be infusing the space with a little bit of life or magic or fire or love.

Whatever your intuition guides you,

Take a moment to conduct this act of service for your heart center.

Once again,

Finding your breath.

Allowing yourself to receive the energy of this space now that we have completed our act of service.

Is there anything else that this space needs you to know?

Anything else that this space needs from you before we return?

Once again,

We will take a nice big deep breath.

Sending out our gratitude and thanks to this space for holding us today,

For speaking with us today,

For allowing us to communicate.

And whenever you feel ready,

Taking your time,

Finding your way back to the door in which we entered.

Hearing your footsteps along the ground as you move back to the front of the body.

Opening the door and stepping back outside.

As you find yourself outside the body,

Taking a nice big deep breath and letting that small self that journeyed for us absorb back into our whole self.

Feeling your awareness all the way down in your toes,

All the way down through your legs,

Your hips,

Your torso,

Arms,

Hands,

And fingers.

Pulling your awareness up your spine and into your throat,

Head,

And landing at the top of your crown.

Keeping your eyes closed for a moment longer as you just rest and integrate.

Maybe checking in with that heart center and noticing what you notice there.

Notice any sensations or emotions.

Allowing your breath to flow in and out of the heart space.

Feeling the effects of having visited this space and completed an act of service for your own body from the inside out.

Whenever you feel ready to complete your journey,

Invite some gentle movement into your fingers and toes,

And then into your neck and shoulders.

At your own pace,

Opening your eyes and bringing yourself back into the space.
