Hello beautiful soul.

Welcome to this Yoga Nidra guided meditation focusing on calming the nervous system.

You might think of this session as a mini massage for both your body and your brain.

My name is Wendy and I'm honored to be your guide today.

Welcome.

Please know this session is infused with loving,

Healing and compassionate energy.

Let's begin by getting settled in.

So reaching for whatever props that might assist you and finding your most comfortable position.

When you're settled in,

Nestled into your Yoga Nidra nest,

Let's take a deep cleansing breath in through your nose and then gently release it through an open mouth.

Allowing yourself to start to relax.

Allowing yourself to start to go inward.

And again let's take another deep cleansing breath in.

Then slowly and gently exhaling through your mouth.

Releasing further and fully allowing your body to soften and to let go.

When our body is at ease,

Our mind follows and becomes relaxed.

Allowing your breath to return to its natural organic rhythm now.

And with each breath allowing your body to soften and release even further.

Allowing yourself to go within.

Surrendering and leaning into this present moment.

Right here and right now.

Focusing on your breath and finding stillness.

Continuing to soften your whole body.

Intentionally letting go of tension.

Letting go of stress.

Releasing any gripping and allowing your body and your mind to fully and completely release.

Please know that throughout this meditation you may start to feel so relaxed that you lose my voice.

Or you may even drift off and find sleep.

No need to worry if this happens though.

Your subconscious mind will continue to be guided by my voice.

Trust that you're safe within this sacred cocoon.

You may notice subtle images,

Feelings or memories surface.

Know that these are sacred signals from your subconscious mind.

So simply allow yourself to gently lean into the experience.

Whatever that may be.

Give yourself permission to surrender and to soften.

As your thoughts quiet your body begins to relax and settle in even more.

So relaxing your mind.

Letting go of the thoughts from your day.

As you let go you naturally shift into a deep and meditative state.

Allow your shoulders to relax.

Allow your jaw to release and allow your arms and your hands to rest gently by your side.

Focusing on your breath.

Gently and softly breathing.

With each breath you're slipping further,

Further into a place of stillness.

Your body is fully supported and is being cradled by Mother Earth.

You are safe.

You are held.

You are here in this present moment.

You might like to now offer a heartfelt sacred intention for your session.

Something as simple as I am fully resting and at ease.

You may whisper this softly or you may say it silently in your mind.

Trust in the wisdom of your soul.

I am fully resting and at ease.

Now gently bring your awareness to the crown of your head.

Your forehead.

The space between your brows.

Your eyes.

Your cheeks.

Your jaw and your chin.

All are softening and releasing.

Then gently bring your attention to the base of your throat.

Your neck.

Your shoulders and your arms.

Your wrists.

Both hands.

All ten fingers of both hands.

All are softening and releasing.

Now bring your attention to your heart center.

Your navel center.

Your root at the base of your spine and creating a sense of warmth in these spaces.

Now gently bring your attention to both of your hips.

Both thighs.

Your ankles and your feet.

All ten toes.

Creating a sense of warmth throughout your whole body.

Your whole body is being cradled by Mother Earth.

Now imagine a soft glow of protective energy all around you.

You are safe.

You are secure.

You are supported.

And now rest until you hear my voice again.

And now begin to return to your waking body.

Bringing small movements to your body.

Maybe wiggling your fingers and your toes.

Maybe rotating your wrists and your ankles.

Perhaps even a full body stretch by bringing your arms up and over your head.

Doing whatever feels best for you and your body.

Feeling the breath in your lungs.

The spark in your heart.

And the clarity of your mind.

And as you return to the activities of your day ahead,

May you now walk your path with deep wisdom,

Clear sight,

And unshakable trust in the power that resides within you.

May you be happy.

May you be healthy.

May you be safe.

And may you live with ease and grace.

Sending you so much love,

Dear one.

Until next time,

Namaste.
