Begin by taking a deep breath in through the nose,

And a slow exhale out the mouth.

Let your shoulders drop.

Let your jaw unclench.

Let the body begin to settle into presence.

For the next few minutes there's nowhere else to be.

But right here.

This is your time to reconnect with your body,

Your energy,

Your purpose.

Bring to attention the crown of your head.

And just notice,

Is there any sensation,

Any temperature,

Any subtle tension or ease?

Let your attention slowly move down through your forehead,

Through your eyes,

Through your jaw.

Down your neck,

Your shoulders,

Your arms,

Your hands.

Scan down through the chest,

Through your belly.

Notice your breath here.

Not changing it,

Just noticing it and the effect it has coming into your body and leaving.

Continue down into your hips,

Your legs,

Your knees,

All the way down your shins to your feet.

Feel the weight of your body resting,

Pressing down into the chair or whatever you're sitting on,

And down through your feet into the ground.

Now take a moment to return to your breath,

Noticing the inhale and the exhale.

Breathe into your body.

Notice where the energy feels alive and where it feels quiet.

This is your aliveness.

Not something you're chasing,

That's something you notice.

Continue your breathing and try to bring to mind three things,

People,

Moments,

Experiences.

Feel the warmth in your chest,

A smile if it comes to your face,

A softening as you remember those moments of gratitude,

Of being grateful,

Of being grateful for something.

Feel the warmth in your chest,

A smile if it comes to your face,

A softening as you remember those moments of gratitude.

Want that gratitude spread through your body like sunlight,

Filling you up.

And as that sunlight fills your body,

I want you to extend that feeling outward.

Imagine thinking,

May I move through this day with gratitude,

May others feel this energy through me.

Begin just for a moment to visualize the day ahead,

See yourself moving through it with purpose,

Kindness,

Strength,

Filled with that light and spreading that light outwards to everyone you touch.

Take a slightly deeper breath in now and on the exhale,

Feel the energy waking up in your body.

Let's do two more breaths now together.

Inhale,

Fill your lungs and exhale slowly,

Energizing the body.

One more.

Inhale,

Strong and tall.

Exhale,

Feeling grounded and alive.

Now bring to mind a word or a phrase that captures how you want to show up today.

And repeat that word to yourself.

Today I am strong,

Present,

Courageous.

Again,

Today I am and one more time,

Repeat that word to yourself with conviction.

Today I am.

Now imagine yourself moving through the day,

Embodying that word.

See yourself speaking,

Walking,

Working,

Loving with that energy.

This is your design for your day.

Really visualize it.

Take one final deep breath in through your nose and out through your mouth.

Bring your awareness back to the room,

Back to your body,

Back to this moment.

Take a moment to wiggle your fingers and your toes,

Gently opening your eyes if they were closed.

Carry this energy with you today.

You are alive,

You are aligned,

You are creating your life on purpose today.
