You can settle yourself into a nice and comfortable position,
In a quiet place,
Away from any distractions.
Taking a moment now to relax your body,
Soften any tension,
And find a posture that feels both relaxed and alert.
Once you've settled in,
Gently close your eyes.
And as you settle into your position,
We're going to complete a breath cycle.
So breathing in for a count of four,
Holding the breath for a count of three,
And then releasing the breath for a count of four.
So breathing in for one,
Two,
Three,
Four,
Holding the breath for one,
Two,
Three,
And releasing the breath for one,
Two,
Three,
Four.
Good.
So breathing in for one,
Two,
Three,
Four,
Holding the breath for one,
Two,
Three,
And releasing the breath out for one,
Two,
Three,
Four.
Excellent.
And again,
So breathing in for one,
Two,
Three,
Four,
Holding the breath for one,
Two,
Three,
And releasing the breath out for one,
Two,
Three,
Four.
Good.
And now let go of your breath.
Allow your breath to return to its natural soothing rhythm.
When you breathe in,
Feel the breath opening up for the day ahead,
Expanding your body,
Creating more space to invite in positive experiences and positive feelings.
And then allow your body to fall back down to the ground,
Releasing any stress or worry,
Releasing all fatigue.
Good.
And now become aware of your body resting.
It feels relaxed,
Comfortable,
And completely at peace.
Notice the slow movements of your body.
Notice the slow flow of your thoughts in your mind,
And just be here fully present in the slow waking of your body and your mind,
Greeting a brand new day with kindness,
Compassion,
And excitement.
And now begin to visualize going about your day,
Visualize your day ahead and see it play out exactly how you want it to go.
Bring to mind all the details and just picture your ideal day.
See yourself accomplishing all your tasks and goals.
See yourself making good choices.
See yourself making meaningful connections and having kind conversations.
And as you visualize your ideal day,
Just become aware of your arms resting on your lap or by your sides.
Allow your shoulders to drop down even deeper,
Releasing any tension in the body.
Extending gratitude to your arms will allow you to embrace positive experiences in your day.
Now become aware of your feet,
Resting comfortably.
Notice how your feet feel.
And just imagine all the places that your legs and feet are going to take you today.
See yourself moving about with grace,
Doing all the things you need and want to do effortlessly and with pleasure.
And now becoming aware of the head balanced atop the spine and just see yourself smiling throughout the day.
See yourself speaking kind words to others and to yourself.
See yourself making positive decisions full of energy and motivation.
And just be here now for a few moments with your sense of thankfulness,
Acceptance and appreciation.
Allow this sense of gratitude to sink deeper and deeper within your heart.
Hold this time quiet for a moment.
And allow this relaxation that you're feeling to remain with you as you go about your day.
Take a deep breath in and allow this feeling to expand.
Enjoy the pleasant feeling and feel it lashing away all of your tension and stress.
Feel grounded,
Centered and supported,
Allowing the positive energy to flow freely throughout your body.
And when you're ready,
Bring your attention back to the room.
Allow your body to stretch.
Wiggle your toes and your fingers.
Move your head from side to side.
And when you're ready,
Gently open your eyes.
Good work and namaste.
