Healing The Family Line With Infinity Breath

This meditation was inspired by Amanda Ellis and José Silva. Most families have unhealthy patterns that remain until someone decides to do things differently. This meditation is to help you seek guidance and inspiration to change it. Knowing that the Universe and you are one and indivisible, you set your intention to change this pattern and ask for help to understand and change your behaviour.

Thank you for joining me today.

This meditation is to help us understand and break a pattern that we've observed in our family.

So most families have patterns that we see relived over and over again so it might be something you saw your own parents do or their parents and something you don't want to pass on to your children and into the next generation.

So firstly well done for putting your hand up and saying this stops with me,

That takes courage.

Before we actually go into the meditation we're going to take a minute to really think about this pattern in as much detail as we can.

What is it we're trying to change?

How does this behaviour affect me?

And how does this behaviour affect my loved ones?

So now you know why you're here I'm going to invite you to become comfortable,

Find a comfortable place for your practice.

So finding a comfortable position for your arms and legs,

Somewhere you can sit for a little while without moving and take a few deeper breaths to settle.

Inhaling,

Lengthen our spine a little bit,

Exhaling we can soften into our seat a little bit,

Soften our forehead and our jaw,

Our shoulders,

Settling a little further,

Bringing our attention to our breath.

We're in no hurry,

Just watched a piece of breath for a moment until we feel really settled and centred.

If your mind wanders it's completely fine,

Just return without too much fuss.

Without any criticism if we can or if our mind is inclined to criticise let's just notice that too.

Come back to the breath,

Long smooth breaths.

Let's call in our guides to assist us to raise our vibration.

So if you know the names of your guides you're welcome to call them by name or you can invite in your family of light,

Your guardian angels,

Any ascended masters who come into your mind or any benevolent light beings,

Spirit beings who want to be with you for the benefit of all and the highest outcome.

Let's invite them into our space.

Invite them to come close so we can feel their light and their love.

Feel their vibration.

Allow it to start to energise your own field.

Your own energy field starting to become more brilliant maybe golden or sparkling or any other way you'd like to visualise it.

Let's imagine we're breathing in that high vibration love and light.

Our physical body is starting to become illuminated as this love and light flows around our body.

Each cell,

This feeling,

This higher vibration.

Feel how it feels.

We're also inviting this high vibration love and light into our subtle bodies.

Our mental body,

Our emotional body,

Our spirit subtle bodies.

Our whole being becoming infused with this high vibration light with the help of our mind.

Bathe in this light for a few moments.

Enjoy the rest of your day.

So now I'm going to invite you to use the infinity breath to connect with your ancestors and your descendants.

So with our attention on our navel centre,

As we inhale we're going to visualise our attention coming out in a figure eight over the top of our head and when that inhalation is complete we'll have returned to our navel centre exhaling our attention is going to come out beneath our feet for the duration of our breath and return to our navel.

So we're going to be making the sign of the figure eight or the infinity with our breath and you can visualise that in any way that works for you.

It might be light or you might even choose to move your arm and sweep it over your head,

Imagine it going beneath your feet but create this infinity sign with your breath inhaling above your head returning to your navel and then exhaling below your feet and returning to your navel.

Our breath is comfortable and relaxed and we're spending however long is comfortable for one breath to go round the top or the bottom of the body.

Then we're going to change the orientation of this infinity sign so staying at our navel centre we're going to allow the inhalation to come out behind us so that's going to be parallel with the floor inhaling the top of the loop out behind us returning to the navel and then exhaling the lower loop out in front of us returning to our navel.

Making that in any way that works for us.

Allowing the breath and the body to be comfortable while we use this breathing exercise.

Can we imagine in the loop behind us are our ancestors.

You can visualise this in any way that works for you they might be standing in a queue behind you going off into the distance.

Can we get a sense of our ancestors people that have lived before us and allow us to be present in the physical body here today.

Then in the lower loop in front of us can we get a sense of our descendants.

People that will follow after us.

If maybe not your direct descendants then maybe your family's line continuing through another branch of your family.

And releasing the breath focusing on that unbroken line our descendants in front of us our ancestors behind and us in the centre where all the action is where the change is possible.

Our lineage.

We get a sense of this eternal line of life and us riding the crest of the wave right now.

And our oneness and our connection with these other individuals.

The things that are different about us and our shared experiences.

Our oneness with them.

And now we have connected with our family line in whatever way is comfortable for you and is clear for you.

I invite you to recall the problem.

Recall the family pattern that you want to change.

So now in your relaxed centred alpha state.

Let's recall the problem.

What is it we want to change?

And why do we want to change it?

And can we get a sense of encouragement from our family line?

Our ancestors are cheering us on.

Our descendants are cheering us on.

And so we set our intention here and now.

I state my intention to change this situation.

I have the opportunity,

The courage,

What else I need to allow this pattern to be understood and to be changed.

Then we're going to release the problem from our focus and we're going to visualise something changing.

We don't have to know exactly what it is but things are starting to happen.

What things are they?

We might choose a symbol because our subconscious mind often works in symbolism but things are happening.

Small changes are taking place to take us to this new situation.

What are they?

We don't need to know exactly.

We don't need to know how they're happening.

But we can see small changes.

We might be having better clarity of our own behaviour,

Our own reactions,

Why we have made particular decisions in our life.

Whatever it is,

Can we identify some steps literally or symbolically that take us in steps towards our desired outcome?

Don't worry about the how.

Allow the universe to work on the how.

Releasing that focus and then for a moment visualising our desired outcome.

So where is it we want to go?

Now that we are there,

What does it look like?

Now that this uncomfortable,

Unfortunate thing,

Behaviour,

Pattern,

Whatever it is that we want to change,

Now that it's changed,

How does it feel?

How does it feel for those around me,

Those people it impacts?

Releasing that visualisation now and returning our focus to our body and our breath.

And I acknowledge you again for your courage to make a stand and change something for the good of all concerned.

And urge you to pay attention over the next couple of days.

The next say three days.

Be on the lookout for clues.

Now that you have sent this intention,

This message out to the universe,

Be on the lookout for clues,

For clarity,

For new insights.

You might want to set reminders to recall this issue,

To recall this pattern you choose to change.

And to see if your understanding is different.

What messages are you receiving to support you to grow your understanding to change your behaviour?

And you're welcome to come back here again at the end of three days and use the process again to keep getting further clarity,

If that is something you would like to do.

So with our attention,

On our breath and our body,

If we feel like we've got any excess energy,

So we feel we may feel ungrounded,

Let's focus on our feet and the earth beneath our feet.

And allow any excess energy to flow out through the soles of our feet or through our channel into the earth.

She's always there to support us.

They are always there to support us.

And slowly returning some movement to our body with a few energising breaths.

Moving our arms and our legs and returning to our waking state.

Feeling energised better than before and in perfect health.
