Use visualization to connect with and draw in Universal energy into each of the seven major energy centers of the body to recharge and revitalize. We invite in the prana and feel its presence, whatever that might be for us. We imagine it supporting the positive expression of each chakra and then our whole being. Let's find a comfortable spot,

Putting our arms and legs somewhere they can rest.

Taking a few deeper breaths as we bring our attention inwards to our body,

Our consciousness.

Taking an in-breath and expanding our spine a little bit and exhaling when we're ready to relax into our seat a little bit.

Finding that balance between relaxed and alert,

A bit of both and hopefully not too much of either one.

And we'll take our attention to our breath.

Let the breath be natural and comfortable as we settle.

So you may be able to sit quietly with your breath,

There may be a lot of noise going on in your mind.

If our attention wanders over to it,

That's fine,

Let's not judge ourselves,

Start more thoughts and just return.

See if there's peace underneath,

Leaving the mind,

Finding the chest and the air movement and putting our attention with it as best we can.

Allowing the breath to do exactly what it wants without interfering.

Feeling more settled and quieter as we pause the external world.

We're going to connect to the earth,

To the universe,

Sky above us.

So we're ready to inhale,

Our attention is going to go from our base of our spine,

Up our central channel,

Out through the top of our head,

Into the space of infinity above us.

Down again into the top of our head,

Through our central channel and out into the earth beneath us.

Inhale all the way up,

Exhale all the way down.

The breaths are relaxed and comfortable,

No longer or deeper than is comfortable to do so.

And as we allow our attention to flow up and down,

Let's allow our attention to connect with the earth beneath us,

Infinite space above us and the energy starts to flow along that line.

So imagine it any way you like,

A cord of light or some other way that works for you.

It's going to start to light up.

As the earth energy is invited upwards through us to connect with the sky and that energy from infinite space above us,

The cosmos,

Is invited in down to meet the earth.

Energy flowing both up and down,

Meeting in us.

If it all gets too confusing,

Just inhale up and exhale down.

Inhale.

Exhale.

Inhale.

Exhale.

If the mind chatter starts and if it wanders off with a train of thought,

We just return over and over and over.

See if we can do that with patience for ourselves,

Compassion for ourselves,

Because our mind is so busy.

So taking our attention now to our root chakra on the base of our spine.

Each in-breath we're going to invite in that energy we've connected to,

That universal energy,

The prana.

Again,

Comfortable breaths,

But our inhalation is our invitation and acknowledgement of the energy flowing in.

Inviting it in.

In.

Imagining that any way you like.

And at some point it spontaneously starts to radiate out energy.

That energy center is sufficiently topped up,

Like a red sun.

And as this part of us gets energized,

We can visualize the qualities of that chakra becoming stable and positive.

So we're feeling more security,

Safety and stability.

And if that's not a feature of your life up until now,

Let's breathe in those qualities.

Feel that connection with Earth that is stable beneath us.

Use our imagination anywhere we like to embody that.

Feel that.

Putting our attention to that energy center as best we can and feeling it,

Whatever there is there.

Thank you.

Thank you.

Let's take our attention to our sacral chakra.

Roughly halfway between the navel and the root.

And invite the energy in.

Feel this part of us.

If we can put our attention on the very center,

The central channel in that region of the body.

Trusting our visualization,

Our imagination.

And as the energy pours in,

Flows in,

We could imagine ourselves becoming more creative.

That may or may not mean we get the paints out.

Creativity more in a sense of being able to create the life we want,

The home we want,

The body we want,

The relationships.

And much creativity in a much greater sense than pencils and pens.

Although it might mean that for you.

Thank you.

Our attention rising up our central channel,

To our solar plexus,

To the end of the breastbone.

And as best we can finding the central channel,

Putting our attention there,

Inviting in the prana.

There is no shortage,

The universe is full of it.

At some point it ignites to radiate that energy out into our body.

Our being.

Trust your perceptions.

Anchoring in our personal power.

To be a positive force in our life and in the lives of those around us.

Thank you.

Our attention rising up again to our heart.

The central chakra linking the three earthly embodiment energy centers below to the three more visionary higher centers above.

Let's invite in the energy.

Placing our attention as best we can in the center as the energy flows in.

This energizing,

This awakening in the heart chakra is going to help us to keep our heart open even during the difficulties.

Even during the bits we find uncomfortable.

To love ourselves more.

To love others even more.

Not less.

Compassion for the struggles rather than pushing them away.

Compassion for the one who feels the difficulties.

Breathing that in.

Thank you.

Our attention rising up to our throat.

Placing it in our central channel in the region of our throat as we invite in beautiful blue energy.

You may find some of these energy centers more energetic.

Some are quieter,

Some are livelier.

Whatever we perceive we can notice,

Allow it to be.

Inviting the energy.

Allowing this energy to help us to feel our truth.

Share our truth without denying the truths of others.

Thank you.

Our attention rises up once more.

Flowing up our central channel to the center of our head.

Let's see if we can locate it on that central channel.

Vertical alignment.

Drawing a line that connects the top of our ears and front to back between our eyebrows,

Center and the back of our head.

As best we can placing our attention where those lines intersect.

Inviting in the prana.

Breathing in.

Breathing out.

Breathing in.

Breathing out.

Empowering our vision.

Not the vision we see with our eyes,

But the vision we see in our mind's eye.

Our goals,

Our inspiration.

Our desire,

Our motivation.

To use that in a positive sense,

Towards love and never fear.

The vision of the visionary.

Thank you.

Attention rising up for the last time to the crown.

Opening to the vastness above us.

As we invite in the power,

The energy.

And it flows in.

Breathing in.

Enabling a stronger connection to all that is.

To universal consciousness.

The source of all,

Of all.

Thank you.

Resting for a few breaths.

With our body,

Our energy,

Our breath.

We can hold it in our mind as a coherent system,

A coherent whole.

We've given many systems so much complexity,

But more cooperative now.

Yes.

If we feel the need to,

We can allow some of that energy to drain away through our connection to the earth.

We have that ability to draw in and release the energy.

It's much more powerful if we can do that consciously.

Just like we manage our physical energy.

And so,

We take a few deeper breaths as we prepare to transition back to our regular waking state of consciousness.

There's no hurry.

Allow the breath to wake the body.

To mobilize the body.

As it gradually starts to move and stretch.

Giving ourselves a little rub to invigorate ourselves.

Thank you for practicing with me.
