Unwind Your Mind is a short guided practice to help deal with overthinking. Sometimes our mind goes into overdrive, and we need to stop, pause, reflect, and just settle into stillness. Create some space between the thoughts and images you are consistently dealing with. Listening from deep within, rather than reacting.

Unwind your mind,

A guided meditation to help you just release and let go.

Of overwhelming thoughts,

Feelings,

Sensations,

People.

Just take the time now to unwind your mind.

Seated comfortably or lying down,

You may even fall asleep.

Just make sure you're in a quiet and calm location.

Try to find space in the present moment.

No memories,

No future,

Just the present moment.

Focus on deep breathing.

Nice long inhalation and nice longer exhalations,

Almost as if you're sighing out.

It's only you here,

Surrounded by an oasis of calm,

Ready to just unwind your mind.

Just try to simplify everything in your life.

As you inhale,

Breathe in positive warm energies around you.

Let them enter your body.

And as you exhale,

Exhale out anything you do not need.

The new energy is gently moving in through your whole self,

Physically,

Mentally,

Emotionally.

Again,

Slowly inhaling and exhaling.

Feel yourself uplifted with this vibrant energy,

Softly moving through you.

Feel the beautiful gift of self-awareness that you have opened.

Feel the calm connection of your body.

If any thoughts,

Any worrying thoughts or memories creep into your mind,

Just let them go with the next exhalation.

Just see them,

Let them pass.

Unwind your mind here and now.

Start to feel a sense of pure relaxation as all that background chatter in your mind ceases and just moves on when you let it go.

You can allow all the thoughts to flow away on the next exhalation and just focus on your breathing,

Your inner awareness.

There is no more attachment to your thoughts.

Observe them without judgment and then let them pass.

You can rest,

Rest deeply.

Feel the simplicity,

That simple calm surrounding you.

This is your space and stay in this peaceful mindset as long as you want.

Feel a sense of joy that you know you can release and unwind your mind.

Feel a sense of happiness,

A sense of deep relaxation.

This new energy is gently passing through you,

Staying within you and you know you have it within you.

It's only you here,

Surrounded by calm and a soft soothing atmosphere.

Learning to relax and feel a sense of ease is your gift to yourself.

It is always there in abundance.

All you need is the time and space to just go within.

And breathe in the positive warm energy surrounding you.

And now notice,

Go within.

Notice how all the chatter has moved on.

All the unnecessary stuff going on in your mind,

Your body,

It's all gone.

Just feel a sense of calm.

A sense of lightness as you've let it all go.

Bring your awareness now very slowly back.

Do a body scan.

Feel that lightness.

And know that you can do this anytime,

You can just unwind your mind anytime.

Coming back very slowly.

Feeling refreshed,

Relaxed.

Maybe wiser and appreciating the journey you just took to experience total clarity.

I recognize that this experience helped you nurture and strengthen yourself.

And it is always there.

Anytime you need the ability to experience the journey.

So slowly start to come back.

Maybe moving your fingers,

Toes,

Move your jaw.

Very gently start to open up your eyes.

Feeling yourself surrounded,

Invigorated by positivity,

Joy and happiness.
