Thank you for joining us in today's meditation.
The theme for this session is new beginnings.
I invite you to rest in a comfortable position.
For those who choose to sit upright with their legs crossed,
Let your hands rest in a comfortable position.
Some may choose to lie on their backs,
Extend the legs long,
Let the arms rest by your sides or on the body.
Close the eyes and start to take deep breaths.
And as we exhale,
We ground into the body.
Long inhales,
Deep breaths in.
And as we exhale,
Grounding deeper into the body.
These long breaths help to calm the mind,
Helping to slow down the racing thoughts as we return back to the stillness within ourselves.
Only we count from 10 to 1.
And as we descend,
We draw our focus into the being,
Letting go of the external world and all its distractions.
Let us ground into the essence within.
10,
9,
8,
7,
6,
5,
4,
Sinking deeper and deeper,
3,
Deeper and deeper.
2,
1.
Breathe into the heart.
And as you exhale,
Dwell in this space within.
As you breathe,
Express gratitude for all your blessings.
Grateful for the body,
For the emotional heart,
For the intellectual mind.
Grateful for the food we eat,
The water that nourishes the being.
Grateful for our connection to community,
To loved ones.
Grateful for the light within ourselves.
Honor the divine self.
Allow these drops of gratitude to fall from grace.
Let the drops fall onto the surface of your mind,
Seeping into the porous soil of your consciousness.
See all of the abundance you currently possess.
A new beginning doesn't have to mean a complete start over.
It doesn't mean we lose everything we've cultivated into our experience.
A new beginning is merely a shift from this moment forward.
From now on,
Let this be the mantra for the rebirth,
For the new beginning.
From now on,
From now on,
From now on is an awareness of what must be let go as we remain connected to that peaceful essence within us.
Reflect upon the prior months or even years.
What isn't working for you?
What are you willing to let go of?
What have you held onto and incorporated into your narrative that is no longer life-affirming?
Let the images float through the mind.
Whatever appears is perfectly fine.
Be open and receptive.
What are you holding onto that doesn't bring joy,
Happiness,
Or fulfillment?
Can we release the need to be right,
The need to control,
The need for approval from other people to be,
To act,
Or to do something so that I can be at peace?
Deep inhale.
And as you exhale,
We release these thoughts back into the nothingness from which they came,
Releasing them from our experience.
Allow the breath to clear the mind.
Whatever lingering thoughts of judgments or withholding forgiveness,
Allow yourself to release so you may have a rebirth,
A new beginning.
Deep inhale.
And as you exhale,
We sink deeper into that peace.
Let us connect to the light within ourselves.
Feel the presence of the divine light.
This light is full of wisdom and love.
It is the divine grace absorbing you into the great collective.
Feel at one,
At peace.
Allow the light to consume your being,
Giving you a new life,
A new beginning from this moment forward.
From now on,
Start your new life.
Inject the certainty into the areas of life where you desire a new beginning.
Where do you seek assistance to grow,
To transform,
To expand?
Allow the light to inspire and create those changes.
From now on,
Witness those transformations occurring.
From now on.
From now on,
Be the change you wish to see.
From now on,
Permit yourself this new beginning.
The consciousness is receptive to a rebirth.
What will you cultivate?
Surrender into the silence within you and elevate to a higher place.
From now on,
Be the change you wish to see.
Long inhales into the nose,
Deepening the breath,
Feeling the expansion of the belly of the diaphragm,
And gently we wiggle the toes and the fingers.
Take a deep inhale,
Breathing in gratitude for your practice as you acknowledge the body,
Your surroundings,
The space you are in.
Express love for yourself.
When you're ready,
Open your eyes.
The light within me honors the light within you.
Namaste.
