So welcome everyone and thank you for joining.
So in today's journey I invite you to connect with this powerful guide that you already have,
Which is your heart's wisdom.
Now in our busy lives we often make choices just using our thinking mind and while our mind is amazing we have another source of guidance that we often ignore,
Which is our heart.
Now people throughout history have known that the heart is more than just a pump for blood.
It is seen as a center of wisdom and of a deep knowing.
Now you may have felt moments in your own life when you knew something was just right,
Not because you figured it out,
But because it felt right on a very deep level.
Maybe your heart pulled you towards a certain choice,
A person or a path that your mind couldn't explain,
But later it turned out to be exactly right for you.
This meditation will help you reconnect with your heart's wisdom and you'll learn to tell the difference between your mind's voice and your heart's guidance.
This journey is not about ignoring your mind,
But it is about bringing your head and your heart together.
And when you regularly spend time to listen to your heart's wisdom,
Making choices becomes easier.
Your relationships grow deeper and you develop a deep sense of knowing.
You're tuned into this inner compass that guides you on your life journey.
So let's begin.
So find a comfortable position for yourself,
Sitting up or lying down,
And let your body fully relax.
Make any adjustments that you need to,
To feel more comfortable.
And once you have the most comfortable position for you,
You can gently now close your eyes,
Or if you prefer,
Look softly downwards.
Soften your gaze and let your eyes gently close and shut.
Now taking a deep breath in through your nose and letting it out slowly through your mouth.
Take another deep breath in and breathe all the way out.
With each breath you start to feel more present.
You start to feel more here in the present moment.
Let my voice,
My words guide you and let your breathing find its natural rhythm.
No need to control it,
Just notice this gentle flow of your breath.
You just take a few more breaths here and you start to feel calmer,
Lighter and your body begins to relax.
Anything that you don't need in the present moment can now slowly,
Gently leave you.
Bring your attention,
Bring your awareness to the centre of your chest or your heart area.
If it feels right at this stage,
You can place a hand over your heart.
As you continue to breathe into your heart,
Feel the warmth of your hand and the steady beat of your heart beneath it.
As you breathe naturally now,
Imagine that you're breathing directly into and out from your heart.
With each breath in,
Feel your heart area expanding and with each breath out,
Feel it softening.
Breathing in,
Expanding,
Breathing out and softening.
Now continue breathing this way for a few moments,
Creating a very gentle connection with your heart.
Notice how your heart feels right now.
You might feel warmth,
Tingling,
Openness or tightness.
Whatever you feel is perfectly fine.
Just notice it without judging.
Now as your attention,
Your awareness is with your heart,
Let's bring your heart now into a state of harmony where it's easier for me to hear this wisdom.
With your hand on your chest,
Keep breathing gently into your heart area and as you do,
Think of something or someone that makes you feel truly thankful or appreciative.
This could be someone you love,
A pet,
A beautiful place or even simply this moment of quiet.
Let yourself really feel this thankfulness in your heart,
Allowing it to fill your heart space.
Something or someone that makes me feel truly thankful or appreciative,
Anything that comes to mind and I will let that thing fill my heart space now.
As you breathe with this appreciation now,
Notice how your heart responds.
It could perhaps be an opening,
A warming or relaxing.
Now this feeling that I've tapped into now,
This is heart harmony.
This is where my heart finds its natural rhythm and becomes a clear channel for guidance.
As this appreciation has filled your heart now,
Continue to breathe gently in and out through your heart and we'll just stay with this feeling now for a few moments.
Now from this harmonious heart space,
We can gently begin to listen to our heart's wisdom.
So I invite you now to think about a question or a situation in your life where you'd like some guidance.
Just something simple that you've been wondering about.
A question or a situation in my life where I'd like some guidance from my heart.
Hold this question gently in your heart space without waiting for an answer.
Simply ask,
What does my heart want me to know about this?
What does my heart want me to know about this?
What does my heart want me to know about this?
And then just listen,
Not with your ears,
But with your feeling sense.
Pause and listen.
Now whatever has shown up for you,
A feeling,
A word,
A phrase,
An image,
A memory,
A physical sensation,
Or just a knowing,
Just notice it.
The heart often speaks very subtly.
Guidance is sometimes just a gentle pull in a certain direction.
There is no right or wrong way for your heart to communicate.
So I invite you just to notice what comes.
If in this process your mind starts to analyze or doubt what you've been receiving,
That is perfectly normal.
Just notice those thoughts and gently return your attention to the heart.
And ask again,
What does my heart want me to know?
And listen once more.
As you continue to breathe into your heart space,
Also notice when your attention drifts to the mind to thinking.
And you can gently guide it back to the heart feeling.
From mind thinking to heart feeling.
So this simple practice,
Noticing the difference and choosing to return to the heart,
Builds your ability to access your heart's wisdom anytime.
Now if you'd like to spend more time with your heart's wisdom,
You're very welcome to pause this recording here.
Now that I know what my heart's wisdom feels like,
I am making a commitment to myself that I will regularly check in with my heart's wisdom.
Before making decisions,
When I feel confused,
When I feel uncertain,
Or I'll just make this a practice so I can learn to tap into it.
The more I practice listening to my heart,
The clearer the guidance becomes.
As we prepare now to close this practice,
Take a moment now to thank your heart for its wisdom and guidance.
Begin to deepen your breathing now.
And bring gentle movement now back to your fingers,
To your toes,
To your neck.
Feel the surface beneath you supporting your body.
And slowly bring your awareness back to your surroundings.
Whenever you're ready now,
You can gently open your eyes.
Now remember the wisdom of your heart is always with you.
It is a reliable inner compass,
Available whenever you need guidance.
In the days,
Hours,
Weeks ahead,
Notice the moments when you get caught into the mind only thinking.
And notice when you naturally turn to your heart's wisdom.
We need both our head and our heart.
But finding the balance between them brings a sense of wholeness and clarity.
Thank you very much for joining me in this exploration of your heart's wisdom.
And until next time,
Namaste.
