This talk begins with a short story followed by quotes to support a deeper dive into the topic of communication. An essential aspect of our lives with the capacity to build or break down any situation or relationship. Some wonderful laughs and insights to remember that sometimes what is NOT being said or expressed is actually the most important thing that wants to be heard.

Hello and welcome.

I have a short story for you.

Some quotes,

Some journal questions.

So get cozy in this moment.

Find your most comfortable posture.

Seated,

Lay down,

Reclined.

Move the body in an intuitive way.

Maybe the shoulders roll back.

You release your jaw.

Maybe the eyes just wanna listen and so they close.

Maybe there's your beverage of choice.

However this finds you,

Please come as you are.

Open yourself up to the vibration of words.

The imagination of the visual,

Where anything and anything can click,

Register,

Be processed or healed.

Open to this power and capacity and hear these words.

Words.

Four beggars were sitting together one day in a market square when a passerby tossed a coin towards them.

The beggars were very happy and excited and began to think about,

Ooh,

What could they buy with that money?

I have an excellent idea,

Said one Spaniard.

Let's use the coin to buy a pan.

Don't be crazy,

Shouted the second beggar,

A Turk.

We should use the money to buy an ekmek.

Enough of that nonsense,

Exclaimed the third beggar,

An Arab.

Forget about the pan.

Forget about the em ek.

I say we use that coin to buy hubes.

You've all lost your minds,

Shouted the fourth beggar,

A German.

The man threw the coin to me and I will decide.

I want brot.

The four continued to argue and just as it seemed,

They would come to blows,

Boo,

Boo,

Boo.

A peddler passing by carrying a tray filled with fresh loaves of bread and calling out,

Fresh bread for sale,

Fresh bread for sale.

All four of the beggars all rose to their feet at the exact same time,

Each simultaneously raising an arm to attract the peddler's attention.

They then suddenly stopped and they looked at one another,

Bursting out in a joyous laughter as they all realized they all wanted to buy bread and that each of them had said so in their own language.

Breathe in.

Breathe out.

Allow the memory of what you heard echo,

What you remember,

What you liked,

What you didn't like,

What you were confused,

Let your memory of the words,

The story,

Bring any visualization.

What came to mind?

What did you like?

What did you not like?

Did it make you think of anything in your life?

What's funny is when I was reading this,

I was just thinking about Aladdin,

The movie Aladdin.

That was my visual.

And then it brought me to Jerusalem when I visited.

There's a old town market,

Just so distinct.

And then as I was reading it,

Because it's not my story and words mean different things to different people,

I wasn't really a fan of the word beggar.

You know,

Stories are written for the way they are to be blunt in their character.

Yeah,

It's definitely funny how we can all want the same thing without realizing it.

In this story,

They were speaking English,

But they were also speaking their language.

Yeah,

When I was reading it,

I was like,

Ooh,

Am I speaking the right language?

Am I pronouncing this right?

I was like,

Is this English?

But it ended up being not,

The four different folks were speaking in their language.

Maybe they smelled the bread in the air and they were just like,

Mm,

Triggered their childhood,

What they knew about it,

Like that word and all the memories.

And while there can be confusion,

Whether you're speaking a different language,

But you know what's funny is this is the whole thing.

An English word,

If we all speak the same language,

Just because we have that same word,

It doesn't mean we say the same thing.

It doesn't mean we mean the same thing.

So like happiness or rest or spirituality or health,

Fun.

These words may all be in our same language,

But doesn't necessarily mean the same to us all because we're all on different journeys and we all have different associations to things based on our programming from TV,

Media,

Schooling,

Caregivers,

But also based on your own deep dives that you've done to you,

To yourself.

What work have you done?

But I do love that how,

Even let's put all that philosophy and ideas aside for a second.

At the end of the day,

Quite often,

There's a collective want and need.

Certain universal pillars are safety.

We all wanna be safe so that we can be ourselves,

So we can relax.

The nervous system's not in fight or flight 24 seven.

Safety,

Shelter,

Nourishment,

Love.

I find that funny,

Especially on dating apps.

It's like all this rigmarole and words and this and that and boop,

Boop,

Boop,

Ba-boop,

Ba-dee,

Da-da,

Ba-doo,

Ba-doo.

But at the end of the day,

Companionship,

To be seen and heard.

What hurdles we go through.

It was lovely in the story how they just laughed at the end,

Because it was viscerally right in front of them.

Bread,

That smell,

That nourishment,

Ah.

And then it was revealed.

It was like,

Oh yeah,

We're actually talking about the same thing.

How funny.

Just like health and wealth and spirituality,

There's many ways,

There's many pathways,

Words,

Choices,

To deliver us back home to the home within.

There is a story similar to this one,

The multiple languages is similar to a story of the Tower of Babel.

I will need to look that up.

Okay,

Interesting.

So sometimes there's the reflection that sometimes our differences can bring out positive outcome at the end,

At the end,

Yeah.

So often we need to walk through the dark night of our souls,

Like,

Oh,

What's with this argument?

What's with this confusion?

What's with this chaos?

It's so annoying and confusing and frustrating.

Why can't we all just get along?

But if we can just stick with it,

Be a little bit curious,

What are you talking about?

What do you mean,

Huh?

We can just stick with it,

Not be so quick to form an opinion,

Maybe it's a positive outcome for everyone.

Perhaps,

Perhaps,

Perhaps,

Think that's a jazz song.

Perhaps,

Perhaps,

Perhaps.

We are all conditioned to be a certain way.

Human needs are the same.

Well,

That's the whole thing.

Like we're not getting out of this planet alive while there are some differences in organs and this and that.

Collectively,

It's the same thing,

Right?

If you cut me,

I'll bleed.

Yep.

And yeah,

There is brain control.

There is the government governing our mind.

There's ways to unravel that,

To reveal certain things.

But yeah.

Often the mirror of relationships,

The most powerfully and romantic ones with that intimacy on all levels,

But all relationships,

Parents,

Coworkers,

Friends,

People you see now and again in shops can raise an eyebrow or two or three.

But yeah,

Can we be patient not to react,

But to respond?

Patience is a virtue.

It is.

Let's dive into some quotes.

So breathe in.

Breathe out.

I will read the quotes twice.

The first time,

Please just hear it.

Just hear it.

Don't try to process it.

Intellect it.

Just hear it.

Hear it.

Second time you can be like,

Oh,

How does that pass through my head and heart space?

This quote is from Unknown.

From our point of view,

We are obviously communicating in a clear manner.

It's the other who fails to understand.

From our point of view,

We're obviously communicating in a clear manner.

It's the other who fails to understand.

What do you think about that?

Is your point of view the only view that matters?

Are they just not understanding because you're the king of your castle,

The queen of your castle,

The royalty?

The whole world revolves around you,

Doesn't it?

Doesn't it?

From our point of view,

We're obviously communicating in a clear manner.

It's the other who fails to understand.

Oh no,

No,

No,

No,

No.

It's funny.

It's so funny.

Everyone thinks we're speaking the truth of our soul and you might be,

But is it communicating in language,

In the tone for someone to understand?

Can you step it back,

Step it back,

Step it back and reflect on how you delivered that?

Some rapping is coming out.

That open mic I went to rubbed out on me.

Can you step it back,

Step it back,

Step it back and see how you communicated that?

Tongue twister.

Yeah,

There can be frustrating when others don't understand instead of seeing why don't they understand.

Both parties play that role.

If you don't understand,

Is it something in the listener that has an association to the word or the topic?

Or is it the deliverer,

The deliverer,

The deliverer communication,

Lord help us all.

What words did you choose?

Did you say it too fast?

Were you speaking about it in a context that was a little more violent,

Not as descriptive,

Open-ended?

Yeah.

It's good to check yourself for sure.

Check yourself.

How can we possibly be the same types of communicators if we're from different families,

System societies?

Yeah.

Let's move on to our next quote.

This is from Charlie Kaufman,

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.

It's a book,

It's a film.

Here at first,

Dive deeper on the second listen.

Incessant chatter is not necessarily communication.

Incessant chatter is not necessarily communication.

What do you think about that?

Incessant chatter is not necessarily communication.

So I went to the store and I wanted that.

She came over and I didn't like that.

Why do you keep calling me?

Oh my gosh,

I'm so busy.

I have that to do and this to do and can you believe she did that and this and that?

Doo-bop-bop-bop-doo-doo-doo-doo-doo-doo-dah.

Incessant chatter is not necessarily communication.

What do you think about that?

Can words be completely empty with no meaning at all?

When are you talking but there's no depth,

No actual authenticity and honesty and truth?

Do you have people in your life that just run the rattle?

Do you have the courage to pull them back and be like,

Yo,

But how do you feel in this moment?

What do you need?

Yeah.

Yes,

One of my favorite quotes.

I wasn't sure that was from Lori Ladd.

No one acts inappropriate given their view of the world.

It's true.

So what's the safety you need in the moment?

What's the pain you're trying to heal?

What's your goal and mission at this time?

Same with the addictions.

No one acts inappropriate given their view of the world.

Maybe the world's not supporting them.

They're not getting what they need.

So your vice will.

How dare we judge that?

Another quote.

Another quote.

Khalil Gibran here.

The reality of the other person is not in what he reveals to you,

But in what he cannot reveal to you.

Therefore,

If you would understand him,

Listen not to what he says,

But rather to what he does not say.

Again,

Breathe,

Listen,

Feel,

I'll speak slowly.

See,

The thing is the reality of the other person is not in what he reveals to you,

But in what he cannot reveal to you.

Therefore,

If you would understand him,

Listen not to what he says,

But rather to what he does not say.

How does that hit you,

Impact you?

So interesting A.

So now we take this to another level to understand someone,

To communicate.

Let's grow into this awareness,

Everyone.

This is the wisdom.

This is the wisdom I've been taking from this discussion.

Can we be aware?

Can we look,

Listen and feel in the psychic visceral body,

Energetic spaces,

What's not being said?

Sometimes what's not being said is even more powerful.

And someone may put lipstick on,

Everything's pretty proper and extravagant and expressive,

But what's behind that?

What's not being expressed?

In the expression of words,

Text,

Talking,

Wardrobe,

What's being communicated,

But what's not being communicated?

Psh,

Psh,

Psh.

Wow.

And in that way,

We all become transformers,

More than meets the eye.

There's more than meets the eye of what you see here and sense even in yourself,

What are you communicating to your loved ones,

To yourself in your journals and what are you not?

Sometimes what you not is even more powerful and screaming in its silence.

Break your heart free.

What needs to be communicated at this time?

That quote,

Actions speak louder than words.

You know,

At first it annoys the beat out of me,

Especially someone in a spiritual emotional place.

So annoying.

What do you mean actions speak louder than words?

It's my intention that matters.

So it is frustrating hearing that,

But we're in a 3D reality.

There's tactileness,

Physicality,

We're not gonna be in these bodies forever.

So,

Actions do matter.

However,

When the actions or the non-action gets you into a bit of trouble or frustration,

Then we use our words and talk about our intentions for sure.

The active listening is what's important.

Beautiful.

Can we find those quiet places and practice on your own,

Maybe when you're by water in nature and meditation,

Find that quiet place so that when you're with others or you're in a big crowd,

Or even when you watch a film,

A play,

You can assess because you have a quiet nature to do that detective,

The conscious awareness detective work.

What's not being said?

What am I not seeing?

And this is the whole point of why we do what we do.

Self-development,

Human potential to enhance from the 3D to the 40 to the 5D to the sixth sense and beyond.

Can we elevate to the frequency of love,

Which is the only frequency that will allow communication and the fine tuning to other beings and other places and spaces in galactic dimensions.

I bless you to do the work,

To build the awareness of the quiet spaces,

To be a frequency of love,

To hear,

To communicate what is highest and best for you and others and every moment in this lifetime and beyond.

And breathe this wisdom cultivated in and breathe it out.

Thank you.

There is great love here for you.

And for now feel your completion in your walk of life.
