Hello and welcome.
My name is Bailey and I'm a nurse practitioner turned Reiki Master Teacher and Sound Healer and I create distance Reiki healing sessions along with my sound healing frequency music to help people who are struggling with stress,
Anxiety,
Or overwhelm or who are perhaps on a physical healing journey.
In our session today I'm going to be doing a full body distance Reiki healing session along with a guided relaxation meditation to really help release anxiety,
Let go of any stress that you may be holding in your body.
So I invite you to go ahead and find your comfortable place to relax and receive perhaps that is your bed or a nice comfortable chair or sofa.
Just getting yourself as comfortable as possible so your whole body can relax,
Your nervous system can reset,
And you can really receive all of the benefits of this Reiki session.
So once you're all settled in,
I invite you to start to focus on your breath,
Inhaling deeply into your lungs and letting your abdomen rise and gently exhaling all of the air out.
And just repeating this a few times,
Inhaling in deeply into your belly and gently exhaling all of the air out.
And if you haven't already done so,
I invite you to gently close down your eyes and if you have a particular intention for our session today,
I invite you to set that now.
The energy is innately intelligent so it knows exactly what you need in this moment.
But if there's a particular area of focus that you would like to guide it to,
Intentions are a great way of helping the energy know exactly where you would like it to flow.
And you can continue to focus on your breath.
I'm going to begin sending you Distance Reiki now.
And I invite you to just follow along with me as I guide you through this full body relaxation meditation.
Give yourself full permission to pause,
To let go of the day behind you and gently arrive into this moment.
Feel the support beneath you.
Sense the ground holding you.
Your whole body being invited to rest.
There's nothing you need to do.
Nowhere you need to be.
Let this be a time just for you.
Bringing your awareness back to your breath.
Just begin to notice.
Not trying to change it.
Just observing the natural rise and fall.
Feel your inhale gently expanding the body.
And your exhale softening you in to stillness.
Begin to slow the breath just a little.
Breathing in through the nose and breathing out through the mouth.
Letting the exhale be just a little bit longer than the inhale.
A long,
Slow breath in and a longer,
Soft breath out.
With every exhale,
Allow something to soften.
Your jaw.
Your shoulders.
Your belly.
Now gently move your awareness through your body.
Inviting each area to soften,
Release and let go.
Bring your attention to the crown of your head.
Imagine a soft light there.
Melting down over your forehead.
Releasing any tension between the eyebrows.
Softening the tiny muscles around your eyes.
And letting your cheeks and jaw relax completely.
Feel this wave of softness moving into your neck and throat.
Releasing any tightness.
Letting it all go.
Now bring your awareness to your shoulders.
Notice if you're holding anything there.
Allow your shoulders to gently melt down.
As if they could drop an inch closer to the ground.
Feel this release moving down your arms.
Elbows.
Forearms.
Wrists.
All the way to the fingertips.
Feel both arms heavy,
Warm.
Now bring your attention to your chest.
Feel the gentle movement of breath here.
Allow the chest to be open and soft.
And bring your awareness to your heart center.
Let it be spacious.
Let it be exactly as it is.
No need to fix or change anything here.
Now move into your abdomen.
Softening your belly.
Releasing any gripping or holding.
Letting it rise and fall with ease.
Bring your awareness to your lower back and hips.
Let this area be heavy and supported.
Feel the weight of your body being held.
Now travel down your legs,
Ankles,
And into your feet.
Letting your feet rest heavily.
Completely supported by the surface beneath you.
Now hold the entire body in your awareness.
From the crown of the head to the tips of the toes.
A soft,
Still presence.
You are safe to relax.
You are safe to let go.
Imagine you are lying on warm earth.
Perhaps in a forest or beside a quiet lake.
The ground beneath you is steady and calm.
With every breath and exhale,
Imagine your worries gently flowing into the earth.
Relaxing.
Dissolving.
Being held and transformed.
You do not need to carry anything alone.
All is well.
The breeze moves gently through the trees.
You feel completely safe here.
Completely at ease.
Soft light filters the leaves above you.
And you feel a growing sense of peace in your heart.
A calm,
Quiet strength.
Let this peace expand with every breath.
Blowing through your entire body.
Like a warm,
Gentle wave.
Start to gently focus on your breath again.
Inhaling deeply into your lungs.
Gently exhaling all of the air out.
Letting your breath guide you back into your physical body.
To this present moment.
And your physical surroundings.
Inhaling deeply.
And exhaling gently.
And just allowing your body and mind to gently wake back up.
Taking small movements at first.
Maybe wiggling your fingers and toes.
And then moving on to larger movements,
Perhaps rolling out your feet and ankles or your wrists and hands.
Just gently waking the body back up.
And perhaps it feels nice to have a nice stretch or yawn.
Just being slow and gentle.
We have just created a beautiful state for your body.
So you're welcome to bask in this state and these energies as long as you would like.
