Beautiful being,

This is a yoga nidra for your inner calm.

So you get that sense of inner calm in every cell of your being and you can receive the guidance that you've been asking for.

It's with this inner calm we can listen more deeply to the guidance that's always there when we're asking for it.

So find a comfortable place to relax,

Lying down on a cushion,

Mattress,

Or couch,

And get yourself really comfortable.

Put a bolster under your knees,

A pillow under your head,

Make sure your temperature is just right,

Put a blanket over you if need be.

Yoga nidra means one with consciousness.

It's yoga sleep.

It puts us in the space right before falling deep asleep.

It's that pre-sleep time where so much can be healed,

Revelations can be felt and heard.

Deep calm sets in.

So sit back and enjoy this yoga nidra.

Start to follow your breath in and out,

Just noticing.

The breath is a miracle breathing you life force energy,

Oxygen,

Coming to your body and being effortlessly in and out.

Now start to feel the weight of your body on your mattress or couch.

Sinking deeper,

Deeper,

Relaxing deeper.

I'm going to count from 10 to 1.

By 1 you're going to be completely relaxed and receptive.

Or motion around you getting more relaxed.

2 and a receptive,

Relaxed space of being.

Now let's go into our sankalpa,

A powerful intention that we're going to be holding for the next time together here.

I am experiencing deep inner calm.

I am in a space where I can deeply receive guidance clearly and remember it.

I am in a state of deep inner calm in a space of fully receiving guidance and remembering it.

I am in a space of deep inner calm,

Fully receptive to receiving guidance clearly and remembering it.

Allow that to sink in deeper.

And to the top of your head,

The crown.

Relaxing your forehead and each eyebrow.

Right cheek.

Your mouth is relaxed and a gentle smile.

As if you were smiling gently.

Bringing your awareness now to your chest.

Relax the chest with the next exhale.

All the muscles that help you breathe,

Relaxing them fully.

Breathing with ease.

Bringing your awareness to your solar plexus,

That mid-belly.

Relaxing the tension there.

Now to the lower full belly.

And now over to the right hip,

Hip flexors.

Those strong muscles that go from your hip into the back and attach on the vertebrae.

Relax.

And then the right thigh,

Front,

The shin.

And letting it get heavier on each toe of your right foot.

The big toe.

The second.

And now bringing your awareness to the left hip.

The left hip flexor.

That muscle that runs deep inside your hip and into the vertebrae.

Attaching there.

Relax.

And your awareness now to your left hip.

Shin.

Your left heel.

The arch of your foot.

And each toe.

The big toe.

The second toe.

Third toe.

Fourth.

And pinky toe.

Now bringing your awareness to the base of your back,

Where the lumbar spine meets the sacrum.

Relaxing deeply there.

Feel a calming,

Trusting sensation in that low back area.

Upper back.

Back of the neck.

There's a calmness running down your whole spine.

Receive it.

With the calm sensation that's starting to emanate through your whole body.

The stillness of the calm.

Now you can start becoming aware as if you're hearing all the workings of your body miraculously working for you.

Listen.

Deeply.

Hear it.

Open the right ear for extra sensing and listening.

Become aware of your own heartbeat.

The sound of your own breath.

Receive the sound.

And let's go deeper.

Extra sensing.

Listening.

Hearing.

Deeply.

Any guidance to come through to inform you.

From your highest self only.

And for your highest good only.

Listen.

Listen.

But still receptive to listening deeply to your guidance.

And you can take this inner calm with you throughout the day.

Seven.

You are in a calm state of alertness.

Let's revisit our sankalpa,

Our power intention.

I am in a calm space of being.

Receptive to hearing and receiving guidance from my highest self.

Space of inner calm.

Receptive and hearing guidance from my highest self.

I am in a space of inner calm.

Receptive to guidance and remembering it.

Take a deep breath in and feel your whole body come alive and expand with that breath.

And exhale.

Feel the whole body contract.

The inhale and the exhale working beautifully in sync together to enliven you.

To give you oxygen and release carbon dioxide.

To give you life force and release.

Open your eyes and feel this embodied inner calm.

Beautiful being.
