Blissed Out Breathwork | Let It Go!
by Angie Castor
Breathwork aids in releasing trapped emotions that are stored in the body as stagnant energy. These emotions may stem from any period in our life, including infancy. Releasing this trapped energy is crucial for our overall well-being. The first portion of this class features intense music that plays a vital role in facilitating emotional release. This dynamic soundscape creates a powerful atmosphere that invites participants to explore and express their deeper feelings fully. Following this immersive experience, we transition into chakra clearing, accompanied by a guided visualization. This sets the stage for a journey where you can wander freely into the depths of your subconscious, allowing for profound self-discovery and exploration. For the best experience, I recommend using earphones for this session.

Welcome to Blissed Out Breathwork.
Before you begin this journey,
It's important to understand that our emotions are energy,
And energy needs to move.
When we suppress our emotions,
They get trapped as stagnant energy in our bodies,
Leading to physical discomfort.
Breathwork helps release this blocked energy,
Allowing it to flow freely again.
As you engage in breathwork,
You may experience emotions surfacing.
It's crucial not to suppress them,
But to allow them to emerge and breathe through them.
During the session,
You'll feel a lot of energy building.
It's essential not to hold onto this energy,
So we'll focus on releasing it through two exercises,
Screaming and laughing.
Feel free to move your body,
Shake your arms and your legs at any time to assist with the movement of this energy.
You may experience tetany,
Which is a side effect of deep breathing.
It presents itself as cramping or tingling,
Most often in the hands,
But it can show up in your mouth,
Or as a tightness in your chest,
Or other sensations in your body.
This will go away once you start breathing normally,
And it's temporary.
It's important to ask yourself if you experience this,
If there's something you're holding onto that you're resisting letting go of.
Midway through,
We'll incorporate breath holds and chakra work.
You can follow my breath holding recommendations or adjust as needed.
You may be surprised at how long you can actually hold your breath after practicing this deep breathing.
So if you want to hold your breath longer than I am telling you to,
Feel free to do so.
After engaging in extended breathwork,
You'll transition into a theta brainwave state,
Offering an optimal environment for deep visualization.
Within this state,
I'll lead you through a guided visualization,
Allowing you to explore and connect with your inner self.
The breathing technique we'll use is a three-part breath,
Two inhales and one exhale,
Moving through the belly and chest.
It is done all through your mouth.
So you'll take one inhale into the belly,
One inhale into the chest,
And then an exhale through the mouth.
It's normal for your mouth to feel dry initially,
But your body will acclimate.
You are always in control of the intensity of your experience by adjusting the speed and depth of your breaths.
Faster,
Deeper breathing will take you deeper into the experience.
Should something difficult surface,
Whether an emotion or a memory,
You can signal safety to your body by doing bilateral tapping.
This is achieved by crossing your arms and alternately tapping your shoulders left,
Right,
Left,
Right,
Left,
Right,
Or by tapping your legs in the same manner.
This will help the brain work through distressing memories by processing them in a way that leads to psychological relief.
So when you're ready,
Find a comfortable,
Quiet space to lie down and let's begin your breath work journey.
Take just a few minutes here to settle in,
To drop into your body,
Taking a deep inhale and exhale.
Another deep inhale,
Exhale,
Filling the back of your body,
Laying on the ground or the bed or wherever you might be.
Starting with the back of your head,
Down to your neck,
Your shoulders,
Your upper back,
Your mid back,
Lower back,
Hips,
The backs of your legs,
Down to your calves,
And your heels.
Taking a moment to check in with your body and just notice how you're feeling.
Are there any places of tension or discomfort?
Not judging,
Just noticing.
Checking in with your heart,
Noticing any emotions you might be carrying.
Are you feeling happy or sad?
Angry?
Joyful?
Frustrated?
Apathetic?
Again,
No judgment,
Just paying attention to what's there.
I want you to envision your body lying in a beautiful circle.
It can be made of anything you like.
It can be flowers or crystals,
Tree branches,
Light,
Flowers,
Or even a flower.
Fire,
Anything that makes you feel safe and comfortable.
Remembering throughout this journey,
You are always safe and protected inside of your circle.
Taking a few more deep breaths here,
Inhale into the nose,
Exhale,
Inhale,
Exhale.
Taking a few more moments here just to settle in,
Get comfortable,
Make any adjustments you might need.
Moving into that breath again,
All through your mouth,
Inhale into your belly,
Inhale into your chest,
Exhale.
Belly,
Chest,
Exhale,
Belly,
Chest,
Exhale.
Finding whatever rhythm feels good to you,
Finding whatever rhythm feels good to you,
Remembering you're in control.
Faster,
Deeper,
Heavier breathing will give you a deeper experience.
Slower,
Lighter breathing will elevate you out of that experience a little bit.
Again,
Belly,
Chest,
Exhale.
All through your mouth.
Finding your rhythm,
Finding what feels good,
Remembering your dry mouth will acclimate after a couple of minutes.
Starting to notice anything that might be coming up,
Any thoughts,
Feelings,
Memories,
Emotions,
Not judging,
Just noticing what's there.
You've got this,
Just keep breathing.
Allowing whatever is there to come to the surface.
Remembering you're safe and protected in your circle.
It's okay to feel whatever is there.
Belly,
Chest,
Exhale,
Belly,
Chest,
Exhale.
All through your mouth.
Finding whatever rhythm feels good to you.
You've got it,
You're doing great.
Don't give up,
Keep breathing.
Asking yourself what you're holding on to,
What you need to release,
Let go of.
Letting that breath sweep through and find anything that needs to be moved.
Tapping in to any of the anger and the pain and the grief that you've been holding on to.
It's time to let it go.
Letting that breath sweep through and find anything that needs to be moved.
It's time to let it go.
Our emotions are meant to be felt,
They're meant to be expressed,
And then they're supposed to be let go.
Remember,
If anything difficult is coming up,
You can do bilateral tapping by tapping your shoulders or your legs.
Left,
Right,
Left,
Right.
Just a little bit longer.
We're almost to that first release.
Really starting to feel that energy build.
Keep breathing.
Again,
Noticing anything that might be coming up,
Any shame or guilt,
Regrets,
Shoulda,
Coulda,
Wouldas.
Frustration,
Anger,
Sadness.
Just noticing what's there,
Breathing through it.
Remembering it's not going to be there forever.
It's temporary.
Everything is temporary.
This experience,
The emotions that are coming up,
This life,
It doesn't do you any good to hold on to the anger and the frustration and the rage.
It's time to let it go.
Got it.
We're almost there,
Almost to that first release.
Moving into that first release,
So on the count of three,
I want you to scream as loud as you can and as long as you can and keep on screaming.
Here we go.
One,
Two,
Three.
Here we go.
One,
Two,
Three.
Scream.
One,
Two,
Three.
One,
Two,
Three.
One,
Two,
Three.
Great job.
Moving back to that breath.
Belly,
Chest,
Exhale.
Belly,
Chest,
Exhale through your mouth.
We're going to let it build again,
Allowing that breath to sweep through one more time.
Finding anything else that needs to be released,
That needs to be moved.
Remembering you're safe and protected.
You're loved.
You're never alone.
You're going to be okay.
Allowing whatever's there to just come up.
Do not push it back inside.
You're here to release,
To let it go.
Do not resist whatever is coming up.
Trust it's there for a reason.
There's something to be learned.
If you allow yourself to feel it,
It will go away.
Feel free to shake out your arms and your legs if you need to.
Help that energy move.
Great job.
Keep going just a little bit longer.
Do not give up.
You can do this.
Trust the wisdom of your body,
The wisdom of your breath,
Its healing abilities.
You can heal.
You're worthy of healing.
Belly,
Chest,
Exhale.
Keep breathing.
Don't give up.
We're almost to that second release.
Keep asking yourself what else you might need to let go of.
Great job.
Moving into that second release.
On the count of three,
We're going to laugh together.
One,
Two,
Three.
If you find yourself crying instead of laughing,
That's okay.
Just let the tears come.
Feel free to shake it out if you need to.
Wiggle around.
Great job.
Moving back to that breath.
Belly,
Chest,
Exhale through your mouth just a little bit longer.
One final sweep through your body.
Allowing that breath to move through you.
Find anything else that needs to come up.
You've got this.
You've almost made it all the way through.
You're doing great.
Keep going.
Noticing anything there that's coming up.
Trusting the process.
Trusting you're having the experience you need to have.
You're safe and protected.
You're loved.
You're going to be okay.
You have to feel your emotions if you want to heal from them.
Just a little bit longer.
You're almost done.
You're doing great.
Moving into those breath holds now.
As a reminder,
You can hold your breath longer than I'm suggesting if you feel comfortable or just follow along with me.
Taking a big deep inhale into the belly.
Holding your breath at the top.
Visualizing a vibrant red spinning wheel of light at the base of your spine.
Witness anything that no longer serves you being released from the wheel.
Affirming the sensation of being grounded and secure.
I am rooted and secure.
I have all that I need.
Another big deep inhale into the belly.
Holding your breath at the top.
Envisioning an orange spinning wheel of light in your lower abdomen.
Watch as anything that no longer serves you is released from the wheel.
Embrace creativity and sensuality.
I am passionate,
Creative,
And in tune with my sensuality.
And exhale,
Release.
Taking another big deep inhale into the belly.
Holding your breath at the top.
Imagine a shining yellow wheel of light spinning in your stomach area.
Watch as anything that no longer serves you is released from the wheel.
Boosting your self-confidence.
I am confident and strong.
Things come to me easily.
And exhale,
Release.
Taking another big deep inhale into the belly.
Holding your breath at the top.
Picture a gentle green spinning wheel of light at your heart center.
Emanating love and empathy.
Watch as anything that no longer serves you is released from the wheel.
I am love.
I am compassionate.
I am worthy of love.
And exhale,
Release.
Taking another big deep inhale into the belly.
Holding your breath at the top.
Visualize a tranquil blue spinning wheel of light in your throat.
Encouraging truthful communication and expression.
Watch as anything that no longer serves you is released from the wheel.
I am authentic,
Expressive,
And lead a life true to myself.
And exhale,
Release.
Taking another big deep breath into the belly.
Holding your breath at the top.
See a deep indigo wheel of light in the center of your forehead.
Watch as anything that no longer serves you is released.
Enhancing your intuition and inner wisdom.
I am intuitive and insightful.
And exhale,
Release.
Taking another big deep inhale into the belly.
Holding your breath at the top.
Envisioning a spinning wheel of glowing violet at the top of your head.
Watch as anything that no longer serves you is released.
Enhancing your connection to the spirit realm.
I am connected to the divine.
I am divine.
And exhale,
Release.
And one last time.
A big deep inhale into the belly.
Holding your breath at the top.
This time I want you to just hold your breath as long as you can.
When you can no longer hold it,
Just fall to your normal,
Relaxed breathing.
In your mind's eye,
Picture a radiant waterfall of shimmering light descending upon you,
Wrapping you in its luminous cascade.
Feel this ethereal light washing away any traces of fatigue or negativity,
Leaving your aura radiant and refreshed.
Sense your connection to earth as roots extend from your feet,
Anchoring you firmly and providing a sense of grounding and stability.
You feel a gentle breeze sweeping through your aura,
Carrying with it any lingering worries or stress,
And replacing them with a profound sense of peace.
Notice the delicate,
Glittering particles swirling around you,
Weaving a tapestry of healing energy that rejuvenates and revitalizes your aura.
Above you,
You see a brilliant sun shining down,
Infusing you with warmth and vitality,
Illuminating every part of your being.
In this magical moment,
Feel a deep sense of renewal and clarity washing over you.
See your aura glowing with vibrant colors,
Reflecting the heart.
My chakras and aura are now cleared,
Aligned,
And activated.
Transport yourself to a serene and picturesque setting where a tranquil meadow blooms with the flowers,
Swaying gently in the breeze,
Or in the breeze.
A tranquil meadow blooms with the flowers,
Swaying gently in the breeze,
Or a calm stream meanders through lush,
Green surroundings.
Allow the overwhelming sense of tranquility and serenity to cocoon you,
Offering a soothing embrace of stillness and peace.
Now,
Picture your anchor as a dark,
Brooding cloud lingering above,
Its ominous aura gradually descending toward you.
Feel the raw intensity of this emotion without passing judgment,
Understanding its significance,
And the invaluable power of its presence.
Feel the raw intensity of this emotion without passing judgment,
Understanding its significance,
And the invaluable lessons it brings.
Graciously acknowledging its presence and recognizing it as the fundamental aspect of the human experience,
Offering insights that you can interpret,
Process,
And eventually release.
With each intentional exhale,
Observe the shadow of anchor dissipating into the surrounding atmosphere,
Feeling the weight of its burden lifting from your being with every breath you release.
As you breathe deeply,
Allow your essence to be filled with pure peace and unwavering love and seamless harmony.
Sense these affirmative vibrations permeating every fiber of your existence,
Displacing the darkness with a luminous glow of tranquility,
Forgiveness,
And compassion.
Witness the gradual departure of the oppressive weight of anchor,
Experiencing a newfound lightness and freedom from its grasp.
Embrace this emerging calm and relief as you bid farewell to the anger that once clouded your thoughts and emotions.
Replace it with a deep-seated inner peace,
Extending forgiveness to yourself and others,
While nurturing an everlasting wellspring of boundless compassion within your soul.
Repeat after me,
Acknowledging that anger is a natural and healthy emotion that is okay to express.
I commit to no longer suppressing this emotion and carrying it within my body.
Engage in a series of deliberate deep breaths,
Each one serving as a resolute affirmation of your decision to openly express all of your emotions in a constructive and healthy manner.
5… 4… 3… 2… 1… Starting to come back into your body,
Taking a few deep breaths here,
Maybe wiggling your toes or your fingers,
And taking a moment to just notice if anything has shifted physically,
If you're feeling looser,
Less tension,
More relaxed,
And if anything has shifted emotionally,
Are you feeling more at peace,
Calm,
Happy?
Again,
Just noticing,
Not judging,
Just checking in with your body and your emotions to see if anything has shifted.
6… Whenever you're ready,
You can open your eyes and slowly make your way back to a seated position.
Whether it feels like it or not,
You have just done a lot of work.
So for the next couple of days,
Be kind to yourself.
You might be a little bit more sensitive than normal.
If this is the case,
Just be gentle,
Go for walks in nature,
Journal,
Take a bath,
Get plenty of rest,
Drink lots of water,
And listen to your body and what it's telling you that it needs.
I also encourage you to express any emotions that come up,
Whether that's with your therapist or with a friend.
We want to make sure we're expressing our emotions and not shoving them back inside.
