Welcome,
Dear soul,
To Good Coffee,
Bad Coffee,
A light-hearted morning mindfulness kick-start.
If you'd like to bring your morning coffee with you on this journey,
Perhaps press pause.
Now take a deep breath in,
And exhale slowly.
You've made it through another morning,
And somehow there's coffee involved.
Without any judgement,
Look at your cup.
If it's steaming rich and perfect,
Congratulations,
You've achieved coffee-time enlightenment.
If it's cold,
Burnt,
Or instant,
Congratulations,
You've been given a spiritual lesson.
That's right,
You are now on the path to spiritual growth.
Now gently bring the cup to your lips.
Notice the aroma.
Is it earthy and divine,
Or suspiciously like regret?
Take a sip.
Feel the warmth,
Feel the joy,
Or the disappointment.
Either way,
This moment is yours.
If it's good coffee,
Smile with gratitude.
You are clearly aligned with the universe today.
If it's bad coffee,
Smile anyway,
Knowing the universe has your back.
You're building character and alignment,
One bitter sip at a time.
Now breathe in caffeine,
And breathe out all judgement.
You are one with your beverage,
Even if your beverage tastes like a broken promise.
Remember,
Life,
Like coffee,
Isn't always about perfection,
It's about presence.
And some mornings,
Presence comes with a side of instant granules and emotional resilience.
Take another sip.
Good coffee,
Or bad coffee,
Both are opportunities to practice gratitude,
And may be an opportunity to make a better coffee next time.
Now breathe and smile.
Take another sip.
Perfect or imperfect,
Both are experiences,
Just different paths of morning coffee.
In life we have many experiences that we label,
All are just part of the human experience.
Please share this mindful moment with a friend.
Be fully yourself,
Beautifully imperfect,
And bringing mindfulness into all that you do today.
Blessings on your journey,
Namaste.
