Designed to awaken your body and mind with calm and intention.
Grounding and embodiment are powerful tools for starting your day with clarity and presence.
When you consciously connect with your body,
You align your mind and spirit with the energy of the present moment.
Grounding helps you to increase mental clarity,
Reduce feelings of stress and anxiety,
Enhance emotional balance and resilience,
Strengthen the mind and body connection,
Boost feelings of stability and inner strength.
As you awaken each part of your body,
You're not only energising yourself for the day ahead,
You're creating a foundation for peace and mindfulness that you carry with you throughout the day.
Let's begin by bringing your awareness to your breath and settling into this moment.
If you haven't already,
Closing your eyes,
Take a deep breath in,
Slowly exhale through your mouth.
Feel yourself settling into this present moment.
As you sink into comfort,
Let your body soften with each breath you take.
Feel the gentle rise and fall of your breath,
Grounding you here and now.
As you inhale,
Invite in warmth and awakening energy.
As you exhale,
Release any heaviness or tension within.
Let your awareness flow through your body as we do this practice,
Noticing the subtle sensations of awakening and presence.
Allow yourself to fully arrive here,
Grounded,
Aware and ready to awaken each part of your body with calm and intention.
Now let's begin the body scan,
Bringing awareness and connection to each of your body parts,
Waking them up and coming into the present moment.
Let's start at your toes,
Toes awareness.
My toes awaken,
I am here in my body.
Your awareness to your feet.
My feet awaken,
I am here in my body.
Awareness to your ankles.
My ankles awaken,
I am here in my body.
Your awareness moves up to your calves.
My calves awaken,
I am here in my body.
Awareness to your knees.
My knees awaken,
I am here in my body.
Awareness to your thighs.
My thighs awaken,
I am here in my body.
Hips awareness.
My hips awaken,
I am here in my body.
Lower back awareness.
My lower back awakens,
I am here in my body.
Abdomen awareness.
My abdomen awakens,
I am here in my body.
Chest awareness.
My chest awakens,
I am here in my body.
Shoulders awareness.
My shoulders awaken,
I am here in my body.
Arms awareness.
My arms awaken,
I am here in my body.
Hands awareness.
My hands awaken,
I am here in my body.
Neck awareness.
My neck awakens,
I am here in my body.
Jaw awareness.
My jaw awakens,
I am here in my body.
Cheeks awareness.
My cheeks awaken,
I am here in my body.
Eyes awareness.
My eyes awaken,
I am here in my body.
Finally moving up to the crown of your head.
Bringing your awareness to your crown.
My crown awakens,
I am here in my body.
Now take a deep breath in.
Feeling into your entire body,
Alive and present.
As you release this breath,
Release any lingering tension within your body.
Another breath in,
Feeling yourself grounded and at ease.
And as you release it,
Notice the sense of clarity and calm that fills you as you embody this awakened state.
Now repeat these affirmations after me.
I am fully present in my body.
I am fully awake.
I am here in my body.
I am grounded and I am ready for the day.
You are here.
You are awake.
You are ready.
Carry this sense of presence and awareness into your day.
Move through the day knowing that you are grounded,
Embodied and connected to yourself.
Feel the strength of being fully present in your body.
This is your foundation for calm and confidence.
