This is a short guided meditation practice. The meditation begins by inviting listeners to make the practice their own. Then the listener is introduced to a series of affirmations about self-compassion and personal growth. They encompass self-belief and empowerment; resilience and adaptability; self-trust and acceptance; and personal growth. Essentially this meditation aims to encourage listeners to belive in themselves, to embrace life's challenges as opportunities for growth, and to cultivate a sense of self-confidence and resilience. Hello and welcome to this guided meditation practice.

My name is Caitlin.

I would like to take a moment to remind you that meditation is a personal practice,

So please take whatever I say and make it your own.

Please feel free to alter this practice to suit your own needs and comfort.

Today,

I would like to introduce some affirmations about self-compassion and personal growth.

Please find a comfortable position.

Close your eyes if that feels okay.

Focus on your breath.

Just notice however it is.

Now please accept the following as truths for you.

I restore trust in myself.

I make choices and decisions as information comes to me.

I make new choices when I have new information.

I did the best I could at the time with what I knew.

I can honor my complexity.

I empathize with myself.

I look upon my past and current self with compassion and understanding.

I utilize my talents.

I apply my learning.

I am constantly learning,

Growing,

And evolving.

I accept my flaws and my strengths.

I approach challenges with strengths.

I accept challenges because they allow me to develop trust in myself.

I release fear and I embrace trust.

I am resilient.

Now return your focus to your breath.

Gently begin to wiggle your fingers and toes.

If your eyes are closed,

You may open them now and slowly return to the space around you.
