In this meditation, explore the quiet, still spaces within yourself. Even with mental noise and emotional fluctuations, we’ll focus on the gaps between thoughts, the stillness in the body, and the rhythm of your breath. By letting distractions pass like clouds in the sky, you open your consciousness to the reality of the present moment.

I had a teacher that would say meditation is about letting go into that which doesn't make noise.

I love that.

So as you close your eyes for a few minutes here with me,

Can you start to allow yourself to let go into that which doesn't make noise?

See if you can relax your shoulders and slow your breathing down.

Invite your energy to just be here.

And even if there's mental noise and emotional fluctuations,

See if you can let yourself just be with that place inside of you that doesn't make noise.

You may notice the gaps in between your thoughts after one passes and before the next one begins.

Notice the stillness in your body.

Notice the rhythm of your breathing.

The world will always pull you if you allow it to.

So no matter where the distraction wants to take you,

Just allow it to pass.

You're neither for nor against any distraction.

It just passes like a cloud in the sky.

Let your consciousness open into this moment.

It's the only moment that's real.

Notice yourself touching the reality of this moment.

Take a nice big deep breath in and easy sigh out.

Feel yourself coming home,

Coming back to who you are.

And then when you're ready,

You can slowly open your eyes and stretch.
