Welcome,
My name is Dr.
Piper Grant,
And this meditation is an invitation to reconnect with a quiet,
Grounded sense of confidence within you.
Confidence in motherhood isn't about having all the answers.
It's about remembering your capacity to show up,
To care,
And to respond,
Even when things feel uncertain.
So let's just begin this practice by taking a slow breath in through your nose,
And a gentle exhale through your mouth.
We're going to slowly begin to bring an awareness to your body,
Where it is right now,
Just noticing the surface beneath you that is supporting your weight,
Whether you are sitting,
Laying down,
Or in any other position.
Just noticing the contact points between your body and the surface that supports you,
Allowing your shoulders to soften,
Letting your jaw unclench.
There's nothing that you need to do in this moment,
Other than be present.
I now invite you to bring to mind a moment,
Whether big or small,
When you showed up as a mom with care,
When you felt like you were in your body and providing care.
And with that moment in your mind,
I invite you to notice what it felt like in your body.
Perhaps you can identify where in your body.
Perhaps you can identify a sensation,
A temperature.
Where do you feel that sense of capability,
Of care,
Of mothering?
I invite you to let your breath move into that place,
Into that space that you have identified.
And imagine that feeling settling downward,
Like roots growing from your body into the ground beneath you,
Steady,
Quiet,
Supportive.
I invite you to silently repeat the following affirmations.
I am capable.
I can meet what comes.
And together,
Let's take one more slow breath in through your nose,
And exhale fully,
Bringing yourself back into the present space in which you are in.
And when you are ready,
Opening your eyes or lifting your gaze to take back into awareness that which is around you.
And I invite you to carry this rooted steadiness with you throughout the rest of your day.
Thank you for the space,
The time,
And joining me in this practice.
Be well.
