Hi beautiful people.
Today I invite you to delve deeply into the creation of your very being.
To delve deeply into the seat of your acceptance and nurturing.
Let's take a little walk.
I invite you to close your eyes down.
To get comfy and to imagine yourself standing before a nature trail.
You can see a mountaintop looming overhead.
Let's go there today.
To the very top of that mountain.
You start walking.
The path is clear with the odd tree branch dotted along the way.
You can feel the sun on your face and a slight breeze in the air.
The memories from your childhood of rainforests start tumbling in.
You start your ascent towards that mountain and as you walk the track gets a little more challenging.
Your breath becomes a little deeper.
The air is fresh and pure.
It feels good and an image of your father comes to mind.
Let's think about him for a moment.
What did he do?
What did he like?
Did he hug you often?
Did he teach you all the things that you know?
How to fix things?
How to drive?
Maybe other memories pop up of him or maybe he wasn't there at all.
Can you notice how this feels in your body?
Can you take it in and be completely aware?
Stop.
Take a deep breath in and as you exhale can you release all those memories of your father?
As you keep walking towards the mountaintop the memories of your father start to drift away.
You start to climb higher and higher still.
The track changes and the rocks like boulders start to appear.
You start to step from rock to rock finding places to balance and now new memories start to flow in.
Memories of your mother.
Was she your biggest cheerleader in after school sport?
Did she hug you and kiss you and tell you that she loved you?
Can you smell the cookies just baked with gooey melted chocolate inside?
Can you hear her voice?
Maybe yelling.
Maybe she wasn't there at all.
Stop.
Take a deep breath in and as you exhale can you release those thoughts of your mother?
Good or bad?
You start to look up.
The top of the mountain is close and there's a few birds flying overhead and then you see on the top of that mountain there's a small figure.
A child.
What's a child doing on the top of the mountain?
The child looks calm but slightly confused.
You keep climbing from boulder to boulder making your ascent to the top.
There's something inside of you telling you that you need to reach that child.
You finally get to the top.
You stop.
The air is cold but the sun is shining.
It's golden light right on the face of that child.
Shining on your face.
The child is you.
You walk over to the child and wrap your arms around them in the biggest,
Warmest embrace.
Your body feels this beautiful surge of electricity throughout your entire body with this gorgeous energy exchange.
You whisper in the child's ear,
I'm here.
I'm here for you.
The shoulders of the child drop.
There's no tension to be seen.
This epiphany washes over your entire being.
Your parents were parenting the best they could with the awareness they had at the time.
Breathing in,
You hold at the top of that breath and you breathe out slowly.
So slowly.
Slowly.
And with that out breath,
You release any negativity surrounding your father.
Breathing in.
And with that slow out breath,
You release any negativity surrounding your mother.
Breathing in.
Hold that breath.
And slowly,
With that out breath,
You release your hold of that inner child.
You let that child drift away and what remains is acceptance,
Calmness and clarity.
What remains is your own inner support.
You turn around and find yourself at the bottom of that mountain.
Grounded,
Peaceful and free.
Namaste.
