Hi there.
Today's meditation is on self-worth and self-love.
So as I talk through a few things and get you mentally prepared I welcome you to find a comfortable seated position or lying down.
Spine is straight,
Shoulders relaxed and away from the ears.
Finding equal balance in both the left and right hemispheres of the body.
Noticing where your weight might lie a little bit heavier.
See if you can even that out.
I welcome you to close your eyes or soften your gaze if it feels safe and tune in to the present moment.
What does it feel like to be you right now?
Notice if judgments immediately arise and just simply allow them to float away.
Coming back to an unbiased witness perspective of your life.
What does it feel like to be you right now?
Maybe there's another judgment that pops up.
That's okay but just release it maybe with your next exhale and come back.
What does it feel like to be you right now?
Notice what arises and this time hold on to whatever good feeling there is there.
Maybe it's pride.
Maybe it's love.
Maybe it's gratitude.
Maybe it's nothing.
That's okay too but my friend it is there that good feeling and you will be able to find it that love of yourself.
For you have guided yourself through every single moment every challenge every up and every down of your life thus far and you have done it out of love.
You've done it out of protection because of that love and you are here now because of that love.
So on your next inhale feel what that feels like knowing that that you have loved yourself so much that you are here now.
Exhale release whatever isn't serving you out into the ether so it can mix into the vibrant energy that it deserves.
The loving kind energy that it deserves and then inhale that loving kind energy into your body.
Feel into it.
Experience it.
And exhale what's not serving you.
Even if we don't feel it.
Even if it's been so long since you've felt it that you don't even know it exists.
There is a core of love that is like hot lava in the center of your being.
It'll always be there.
It is the true essence of yourself.
It is your personal power.
It is what has driven you to take the actions you've taken through this life good and bad.
It doesn't really matter.
Each choice you've made has been a lesson.
Each step you've taken has been a learning.
So whatever has happened in your life that's okay.
That core self has always been there and it will always be there.
Maybe you can even feel it in the core of your being right underneath your ribcage.
Some would say it's a solar chakra,
Solar plexus,
Where your personal power,
Confidence shines through like the sun on the brightest day.
Maybe on your next inhale,
Imagine it expanding to cover the entirety of your body.
Maybe you've lost what that feeling feels like.
Think about the deepest love you've ever felt and inhale it into your body.
Inhale it to expand,
Cover you,
And exhale,
Release what's serving you today.
Inhale,
Deepen that love,
Gratitude,
That true sense of self.
Exhale,
Release all the times you've questioned who you are.
Release all the times you've dampened your true being for the sake of others,
For the sake of what you believe you're supposed to be.
Inhale the knowledge that you can be your best,
Truest form of yourself the second you fully decide to do so.
And exhale,
Release all the constraints society,
Others,
And yourself have put on you.
Inhale love.
Feel it fully.
And exhale,
Questioning,
Judgments,
Even hatred.
It is okay to feel whatever you felt about yourself up to this point in your life.
But that core power that exists within each one of us thrives on love.
It thrives on being heard,
Thrives on being acknowledged.
And so even just the slightest hint of those kind feelings and sensations towards yourself,
You will grow exponentially into that self love that you deserve.
Allow yourself to love yourself even if it's hard.
I'll leave you for a few moments to feel into whatever else comes up here.
Just know that love exists.
And whatever other things come up that don't serve you are simply masks that you can throw away.
And you can always come back to that core feeling of love.
Notice where your mind went in those moments.
Wrap up whatever you need to wrap up before gently guiding yourself back to the space,
This present experience in your body.
Maybe add a little wiggle on your fingers and toes.
Spinning of the wrists,
Twirling of the ankles.
And in whatever way feels right for you,
Whether it's bringing your knees to your chest or any other way that feels good in your body.
I welcome you to pull yourself into a hug,
A tight hug,
A loving hug.
It can feel so powerful to hold ourselves with intention.
So hold yourself my friend like you would someone you love more than anything else in this world.
Because you are someone you love more than anything else in this world.
Hold yourself with that love.
And know you can always hold yourself with that love.
Breathe in deeply.
Imagine love filling your nostrils,
Going down your throat,
To your chest,
Into the core of your being.
Expanding with that love.
And then release whatever you need to release with the exhale.
And whether you're still hugging yourself or want to let go,
Find a seated position of your choice.
And know that you can always come back to this practice,
Whether it's with me or on your own.
You are loved.
You are worthy.
And you have brought you exactly to this place for a reason.
Feel into the gratitude and love of those words.
And I hope you have a wonderful rest of your day.
Much love to you my friend.
