As you settle in and find a comfortable position for your body,
Know that this is a space for gratitude.
How often do you thank yourself?
As you've lived your life,
You've shown strength,
You've made choices,
You've had so many experiences and feelings,
And you're still growing and changing right now.
Your past self is the one who brought you all the way here.
Remember who you used to be,
And find a reason to be thankful that that version of you existed.
Your future self needs your help.
Your future self is proud of your current self.
Your future self is so thankful for the work that you're doing right now.
Thanking yourself is a powerful act of self-love.
If you are struggling with loving yourself and being thankful for who you are,
This could be a powerful experience for you.
When we are able to love ourselves,
We increase our capacity to love others.
Take a deep breath in with me.
Now as you let go of this breath,
Allow your muscles to relax,
Letting any tension melt away.
One more time.
Take a deep breath in.
And as you release this breath,
Let go of any tension in your body.
I will now begin the affirmations,
Giving you space between each affirmation to repeat what I've said,
Either out loud or internally,
To yourself.
Thank you,
Physical body,
For carrying me so far through life.
I am so thankful for all the things that my physical body has allowed me to do.
Thank you,

Encouraging me to enjoy life along the way.

For helping me let go.

Thank you,

For being a sacred act of self-respect.
I am so thankful for my ability to listen to my body and rest when needed.
Thank you,
Love,
For flowing through me always.
I am so thankful for my own ability to love others and myself.
I am so glad to be who I am.
I am so thankful that I am worthy of the love that I give so freely to others.
Thank you,
Inner thoughts,
For speaking to me with kindness.
I am so thankful for my ability to love myself through every version of me.
Take another deep breath as you slowly begin to become more aware of your physical body and your surroundings.
Carry these feelings of self-love into your day.
If you do notice that your inner voice lacks love for yourself,
Come back to this recording.
It will help you uncover the self-love that you do have and that you are capable of.
Thank you.
