Welcome my dear friend.

Take a moment to find a comfortable position,

Either sitting or lying down,

Allowing your body to relax and unwind.

Close your eyes gently,

Allowing yourself to be fully present in this moment.

We are here together to cultivate peace and release anxiety from within.

Let's begin by becoming aware of your breath.

Take a deep,

Slow inhale in through your nose,

Feeling your belly expand.

Hold it in for a moment and then exhale gently through your mouth,

Feeling any tension and worries melt away with each breath.

Inhale deeply again,

Feeling the air nourishing your body and exhale gently,

Letting go of any tension you might be carrying.

Continue to breathe slowly and deeply,

Allowing your breath to be your anchor throughout this meditation.

Now bring your attention to the sensation of your body against the surface you're resting on.

Feel the support beneath you,

Grounding you and providing a sense of stability.

As you let go,

Imagine roots extending from your body,

Digging deep into the earth,

Intertwining with Mother Earth's energy.

Visualize these roots becoming stronger and more expansive,

Providing you with a solid foundation that connects you to the present moment.

As we venture further into this meditation,

Remember that trauma-informed language is at the forefront of our journey.

I will guide you to explore emotions and sensations in a safe and gentle way.

If at any point you feel overwhelmed,

It is absolutely okay to pause or even return to your breath as a means of self-soothing.

Now imagine yourself in a serene,

Peaceful garden.

It is filled with vibrant flowers,

Tall trees,

And a gentle breeze that caresses your skin.

Allow the colors of the flowers to brighten your spirit and bring you joy.

Take in the beauty that surrounds you,

Immersing yourself in this tranquil space.

As you continue to breathe,

Bring your attention to any areas in your body where you may be holding tension or anxiety.

Visualize a soft,

Warm light radiating from your heart center.

This healing light moves slowly throughout your body,

Gently melting away any tension or discomfort it encounters.

Each breath you take nourishes this light,

Allowing it to expand further into every cell of your being,

Bringing comfort and release.

Now imagine a soothing river of crystal clear water flowing through your body.

This river represents your emotions,

And it is perfectly safe for all emotions to be present here.

Visualize your anxiety or any negative emotions as leaves gently falling onto the surface of the water,

Where they are carried away,

Flowing downstream,

Leaving you feeling lighter and more at ease.

Bring your attention back to your breath,

Feeling the rise and the fall of your chest with each inhale and exhale.

As you breathe,

Imagine that you're inhaling pure calmness and exhaling any remaining anxiety or tension.

Let go of anything that no longer serves you,

Allowing yourself to be fully present in this moment.

You are safe,

You are supported,

And you are loved.

Take a moment to express gratitude for yourself and for the courage it takes to embark on this healing journey.

Slowly begin to bring awareness back to your physical surroundings.

Wiggle your fingers and your toes,

Allowing yourself to return fully to the present moment.

Know that you can revisit this peaceful garden of tranquility in inner harmony at any time you wish.

Carry this sense of peace and release with you as you move forward in your day,

And when you're ready,

Gently begin to open your eyes,

Feeling refreshed and rejuvenating.

Be well,

My dear friend.
