Hello and welcome to this meditation.

Let's begin by finding a comfortable and quiet space where you can sit or lie down.

When you are comfortable closing your eyes gently and taking in a few deep breaths.

Inhaling through your nose and exhaling through your mouth.

Letting go of any tension in your body.

Allowing yourself to fully relax.

Giving yourself permission to have this time for you.

Let go of any to-do's or responsibilities and allow yourself to be present at this time.

As you settle in to the present moment feel the support beneath you.

Whether that's in a chair or the ground or your bed.

Allow yourself to be fully present in this space.

Feeling so supported and held.

Now turn your focus inward as you begin to notice your breath.

The natural rhythm of inhaling and exhaling.

Noticing where in your body your breath is most present.

Noticing if your breaths are deep in your belly or sitting higher in your chest.

As you continue to breathe let go of any thoughts or distractions.

Imagine each breath as a wave of calm over you.

Cleansing and renewing your energy.

Deep breath in and exhale it all out.

Using your breath to anchor you in this moment.

To calm and relax you.

Breathe in and breathe out.

On your next inhale we're going to hold your breath at the top for a moment before exhaling.

So breathe in,

Hold your breath,

Exhale out.

Breathe in,

Hold your breath,

Exhale out.

One more time breathe in,

Hold at the top and exhale out.

Now bring your awareness to your heart center.

Visualize a warm golden light glowing at the center of your chest.

This light represents self-love.

A pure and unconditional love for yourself.

With each breath allow this light to expand and fill your entire being.

Breathe into your chest.

Breathe out as this light continues to expand.

As the golden light flows through you and surrounds your entire body.

Repeat silently in your mind,

I am worthy of love.

I am deserving of happiness.

I am enough just as I am.

I am worthy of love.

I am deserving of happiness.

I am enough just as I am.

I am worthy of love.

I am deserving of happiness.

I am enough just as I am.

Continue repeating this in your mind.

Each time you repeat this to yourself feel your love expanding.

Releasing the affirmations as you feel the warmth and love radiating from your heart.

Embracing every part of your being.

Picture this light dissolving any self-doubt,

Criticism or judgment.

Allow it to be replaced with love,

Compassion and acceptance.

Now imagine surrounded by a beautiful bubble of light.

This protective and nurturing energy shields you from any negativity or self-criticism.

Within this bubble you are safe,

Loved and accepted.

Take a moment to acknowledge and appreciate yourself.

Recognize your strengths,

Resilience and the unique qualities that make you who you are.

Embrace yourself with kindness and compassion.

As you continue to breathe feel the love within you expanding beyond your physical body.

Envision it reaching out to touch every aspect of your life,

Your relationships,

Your experiences,

Your career,

Anything you can envision.

Allow this love to expand and touch everything you see for yourself,

Everything in your life.

Stay in this state of self-love for a few more breaths.

Basking in the warmth and acceptance that surrounds you.

Taking a slow breath in and exhale out your mouth.

When you feel ready gently bring your awareness back to the present moment and open in your eyes.

Try and carry the essence of this self-love meditation with you throughout the day.

Remember that you can return to this practice whenever you need a moment of reassurance and self-compassion.
