This 10-minute meditation will help to reduce anxiety, relax your mind and body, and feel those intense emotions without judgment to then be able to release what is not serving you. Using a guided visual, deep breathing, and positive affirmations this will help you to feel at peace and shift your energy.

Welcome Mama,

You deserve a break and some time for you,

So let's settle into a comfortable position,

Closing down your eyes,

Rolling your shoulders back,

Relaxing your jaw,

Making any last minute adjustments to ensure you feel the most comfortable you can,

Focusing on your breath,

As you slowly take a deep breath in through your nose,

And exhaling out through the mouth,

Filling your belly with air,

And releasing out any tension,

Slowly breathing in,

Holding up at the top,

And release,

Your body,

Mind and spirit has just gone through an incredible transformation,

And this may be bringing up many emotions for you,

And that's okay,

At times this can feel like a lot,

Maybe even overwhelming,

So let's make an intention for this practice,

To allow yourself to feel these emotions,

And not be so hard on yourself,

Allow whatever needs to come up,

So you can move through and release it,

It's so normal to feel a wave of emotions,

So allow yourself to breathe through them,

Taking a deep breath in,

Hold up at the top,

And release,

Try to visualise yourself at a beach,

Standing on the edge of the water,

Toes in the sand,

Sun on your face,

Small waves crashing on the shore,

And washing in over your feet,

The tide is flowing in and out,

Your breathing matches the flow of the ocean,

In and out,

As you look out over the waves,

Across the horizon,

Everything you have been thinking and feeling start to surface,

Not naming any of these emotions as good or bad,

But allowing whatever needs to come up,

Tell yourself I am learning a lot right now,

And it's okay to be feeling this way,

I choose to let go of the thoughts and emotions that are not serving me,

I choose to release any uneasy energy flowing through me,

You feel the strength to step into the water,

Slowly walking out deeper until it's deep enough for you to dive in,

You take a breath in and out,

And dive through the waves letting them wash over you,

As the waves flow over your body,

They take away any worries or fears,

Any guilt or shame,

They cleanse your mind,

Body and spirit,

You turn to float on your back,

Flowing back and forth,

As the little waves crash under you,

As your body rides the waves,

You begin to feel calm,

How incredible are you to show up and have this time for yourself,

So you can show up as an even better mum to your baby,

They are so lucky to have you,

Breathing in and out,

And repeating to yourself,

I face each challenge with patience and love,

If my emotions start to feel intense,

I can breathe through them,

In and out,

I am so proud of myself,

I can do this,

I can do this,

Taking one last deep breath in,

Hold at the top,

And slowly release,

Release,

You have got this mama,

You are not alone,

We are all on this journey together,

And when you feel ready,

Slowly opening your eyes,

I am proud of you for showing up to do this meditation today,
