Today's practice is to help you find peace in the middle of a busy day,

So I hope you found somewhere to sit or lie quietly,

Away from the noise and distractions of the day.

Close your eyes and take a deep breath in and welcome yourself to this space that you've created and thank yourself for being here.

Exhale slowly,

Releasing any tension from your body.

As you breathe in,

Feel your lungs expand and as you breathe out,

Feel your body relax more and more with each breath.

Let go of any thoughts or concerns just for these few moments.

This is your time.

And now begin to tune in to the natural rhythm of your breath.

Feel the air coming through your nose and filling your lungs,

Expanding your belly and then gently leaving your body.

No need to force anything,

Just breathe naturally and deeply.

With each inhale,

Invite in calmness and with each exhale,

Release the busyness of the day.

Inhale peace and exhale stress.

As you settle into the stillness,

Allow any lingering thoughts or worries to drift away like clouds passing in the sky.

Acknowledge them if they arise,

But let them float away,

Knowing you can come back to them later.

For now,

All that matters is this moment of peace.

Imagine yourself surrounded by a cocoon of tranquility,

A soft glowing blanket of light that gently embraces you.

This is your space,

A sanctuary where nothing can disturb your peace.

As you breathe,

Let yourself sink deeper into this feeling of stillness.

Allow your shoulders to drop,

Allow your jaw to unclench.

Wherever you hold tension,

Allow it to be released.

Let your entire body relax completely.

And if your mind begins to wander,

Gently guide it back to your breath,

The inhale and the exhale.

Each breath is a reminder that you are here,

Fully present and at peace.

Now begin to imagine a serene scene,

A place where you feel calm and at ease.

This could be a beach,

A quiet forest or even a cosy room.

Picture yourself in this place,

Noticing all the details that make it peaceful for you,

The sounds,

The smells,

The colours.

Build it up in your mind and mark it as a place you can return to time and time again.

In this moment,

Know that you are safe,

You are calm,

You are exactly where you need to be.

Allow yourself to enjoy the peace and stillness in this space,

Knowing that you can return to it any time you need a moment of calm in your day.

Take a few more deep breaths,

Slowly beginning to bring your awareness back to your body.

Feel your feet on the ground,

Feel your hands resting gently in your lap.

Wriggle your toes and your fingers.

And when you're ready,

Open your eyes gently,

Carrying with you a sense of peace and clarity that you can bring into the rest of your day.

Thank you so much for sharing your time with me today.

Have a wonderful day.
