This breathwork meditation was designed to sooth your soul. We rarely think about how we need to tend to our soul. We tend to our physical body, our mental health, and everything but the soul. Take some time for the soul, and breath. Thank you for joining me in this breathwork meditation, I truly appreciate it. Come back to this breathwork meditation anytime you need to sooth your soul. I look forward to breathing with you in the next meditation.

Hello,

Beautiful being.

Welcome to a five-minute breathwork meditation to soothe your soul.

Sometimes we can feel like we haven't tended to a deep part of ourselves.

That part is your soul.

Let's tend to your soul.

Close your eyes gently or soften your gaze downward.

Allow your awareness to arrive right here in this body,

In this breath.

There's nowhere to be,

Nothing to fix,

Nothing to achieve in this space.

You are simply welcome exactly as you are.

Take one deep,

Gentle breath in,

And as you exhale,

Release any obvious tension you're holding in your shoulders,

Your jaw,

Another breath in and exhale,

Letting go of the idea of doing this right.

One more breath arriving fully into the sanctuary of your own being.

Now let your breath find its own natural rhythm.

Don't change it.

Don't judge it.

Simply become the curious listener of your own life force.

Notice the slight pause at the top of the inhale,

The sacred pause before the exhale begins its offering back to the world.

Your breath,

The ocean you've carried since your first moment and will carry until your last.

Listen as if to a gentle friend sharing a secret.

Now,

Gently began to shape your breath into the rhythm of a welcoming tie.

Inhale slowly through your nose for four seconds.

Imagine the tide of life,

Of peace flowing gently into every cell.

Exhale slowly through parted lips for six seconds.

Imagine the tide receding,

Taking with it any heaviness,

Any residue of the day.

Let this rhythm be soft like the waves lapping the shore of your soul.

Inhale,

Welcoming in compassion for yourself.

Exhale,

Releasing any self-criticism you've been carrying.

Inhale,

Welcoming in stillness.

Exhale,

Releasing the need to be anywhere but here.

Continue with this rhythm,

Your own welcoming tide.

Each inhale,

A reception of grace.

Each exhale,

A sacred release.

Now bring your attention to the center of your chest,

Your heart space.

With your next inhale,

Imagine breathing directly into this space as if filling a gentle harbor with light.

With your exhale,

Let that light radiate outward,

Warming you from within.

Inhale into your heart harbor.

I am here.

Exhale from your heart harbor.

I am held.

Let your breath become soft now,

Almost imperceptible,

Resting in the harbor of your own heart.

Release any conscious control of your breath.

Let it return to its natural rhythm,

Carrying with it the rhythm of the tide,

The warmth of the harbor.

Notice the quiet space within you that has been touched,

The soul that has been soothed.

There is a quiet hum of peace here,

Available whenever you return.

When you feel ready,

Gently bring movement back into your fingers and toes.

Take one more conscious,

Deep breath,

Inviting this sense of soothing to integrate into every cell.

Exhale with a soft sigh of gratitude for this time with yourself.

Open your eyes slowly,

Seeing the world anew from this place of inner sanctuary.

Remember this harbor.

It is always within you.

The tide of your breath is always available to return you home.

Come back to this meditation whenever you need to soothe your soul.
