In this guided meditation you will take a deep dive into the power of self-reflection, by simply asking yourself “Why?”Have you ever felt stuck in a repeat pattern, or found yourself unable to move forward, despite your best efforts? Sometimes, it can be difficult to figure out why you're not making progress or identify what exactly is holding you back. By asking ourselves “Why?" At least five times, we can quickly delve into the deeper reasons and root causes of whatever might be holding us back. This process guides us to discover the core of what needs to be acknowledged and healed, allowing it to be transformed.

Welcome to the Soul Growth Sessions,

A place to nurture your soul and awaken your potential.

In this guided meditation you will take a deep dive into the power of self-reflection by simply asking yourself why.

Sometimes it can be difficult to figure out why you're not making progress or identify what exactly it is that's holding you back.

By asking ourselves why at least five times we can quickly delve into the deeper reasons and root causes and quickly get to the core of what needs to be acknowledged,

Healed and transformed.

Let's begin by finding a comfortable position,

Whatever feels right for you,

Sitting or lying down.

And when you're ready,

Gently close your eyes and begin to turn your attention inwards.

Tuning in to the sensations of your breath,

Allowing you to feel more present within your body.

Spending a few moments of quality time feeling and breathing into any areas that want a little extra attention.

Breathing in fully and deeply,

Letting go easily on the exhale,

Giving yourself permission to relax.

Breathing naturally now.

As you continue to relax,

Allow your gentle focus to settle on the problem that's currently challenging you or the goal that you want to achieve.

Take a moment to reflect on the following questions to help you add more detail to whatever is most present for you at this time.

What are my current needs?

What is causing me pain or discomfort in my life?

What part of my life feels heavy?

What do I want to accomplish?

What do I want to achieve?

What do I want my life to look like?

What lights me up inside when I think about it?

Take your time to reflect on these questions and try to identify what you want to change in your life.

Once you have identified what is most present for you,

It should now be clear what you wish to move towards and what you wish to move away from.

In order to clearly see what is in the space between where you are and where you want to be,

We simply ask ourself,

Why?

Why is this present for me?

Allow the answer to rise up to meet you.

Let it emerge and unfold in front of you.

Allow the answer to be as authentic as possible.

Whether it makes sense or not,

Just allow it to be in its raw and unfiltered form for now.

Whatever answers come forward,

Simply ask yourself again,

Why?

Allowing yourself to sink deeper into acceptance and understanding.

Allow the answer to rise up to meet you.

Let it emerge and unfold in front of you.

As it unfolds,

Asking why again.

Allowing the answer to rise up to meet you.

Letting it emerge and unfold around you.

Imagine yourself drifting deep within.

Floating softly all the way down into the core of your being.

Asking why as the answer unfolds.

Allowing the answer to rise up to meet you.

Let it emerge and unfold around you.

In one final time,

Simply asking why is this present for me?

Allowing the final answer to rise up as it emerges and unfolds all around you.

Arriving finally at the pure unfiltered truth.

Take a moment to fully witness what you see,

Hear or feel.

Embracing this newfound understanding within yourself.

Allow yourself to feel any emotion that may be present with this realisation.

Letting the newfound clarity and insight settle within your nervous system.

Take your time to explore how this new awareness feels.

Knowing that you have taken a huge step and allow yourself to feel a sense of pride in how much you have learned.

Ready to return from your journey.

On the next inhale,

Take a full deep breath.

Feeling your stomach and rib cage expanding all the way.

And when you're ready,

Exhale with a sigh.

Fully letting go.

As your breath returns to its regular flow,

You are aware of how you now feel more anchors and presence within your body.

Feeling the changes that have taken place.

Feeling them integrate within you.

Feeling renewed.

Taking the time now to return to your surroundings.

Feeling the points of contact between you and the surface on which you are resting.

Slowly bringing your awareness back to your surroundings.

Feeling the air on your skin,

Gently moving your body,

Taking your time.

And when you feel ready to come back,

Gently open your eyes,

Aware of the world around you.

Remembering you can come back and experience this practice as often as you like.

Take some time to journal and note down any insights or realizations you had to help them settle and integrate within you.
