This is a meditation for those times when you need a time out in your day. You are overwhelmed, can't deal with one more thing, are angry about a situation, etc. Whatever it is, sometimes a quick time out using the cleansing breath can help you better be present, handle what is going on, maybe come at it with more peace than reaction. Only three minutes long... you got this!

Hello,

I'm Jennifer Ellis.

Welcome to this meditation I call Time Out.

This is for those times where you are having a really rough day,

Week,

Month,

Whatever it is,

And you feel so overwhelmed,

You just don't know how to deal with a particular situation,

Or you are running around and you just feel like,

Ah,

I need a break.

This is just a quick break that you can take,

And although it's super quick,

Trust me,

It can help you get through situations in a quick time out.

Put yourself in just a little area,

Pop this on,

And let's do it.

You got this.

We're going to do six cleansing breaths together.

We're going to inhale and fill our bodies up with nourishing oxygen,

And then when we exhale,

We're going to exhale through the mouth,

Softly,

Loudly,

However you want.

Get out whatever you need to get out,

And that way,

You can go back out into your day,

Whatever situation you're dealing with,

Having released the anxiety,

Stress,

Anger,

Whatever it is around that situation,

So that you can go better,

Deal with it.

All right,

Let's do this.

You got it.

Inhale,

Exhale through the mouth,

And just because I'm being kind of quiet with my exhale,

I'm recording.

You be as loud as you want,

Inhale,

Exhale,

Let it go,

Inhale,

Big nourishing breath through the nose,

And exhale it out.

Inhale through the nose.

You got this,

You got this,

You got this,

And exhale through the mouth.

Just let go of whatever you need to let go of.

Let's do this twice more,

Inhale,

Exhale,

Just let it go,

Feel your body,

The weight just being released,

Whatever is just weighing on you,

Let it go,

Let it go,

Inhale,

Exhale,

And let's just do one more for good measure,

What do you say,

Inhale,

And exhale,

The cleansing breath.

I find it so helps me to better deal with things when I just take a moment,

A timeout,

Release what I need to release,

Let go of what I need to let go of,

So I can get back out there and better handle whatever's going on.

Thank you so much for joining.

Once again,

I'm Jennifer Ellis,

And believe me,

You got this.
