Hello,

Dear ones,

And welcome to this meditation to listen to your body.

Take a moment to get comfortable,

Either in a seated position or lying down.

Close your eyes or soften your gaze,

Whatever you're comfortable with.

Please take a deep breath in,

Exhaling any tension in the body.

Our body is sending us messages all the time.

All we need to do is listen,

Learn how to tune into our body to understand what it is asking for.

Let's begin slowing down.

Feel your breath flowing in an automatic rhythm.

Observe the air coming in and out.

Imagine that your breath is slowing down just a little bit,

Making you feel more relaxed,

Breathing normally.

Good.

Feel any tension in the body melting away,

Starting in your arms.

Let any tension in the arms go,

And the legs.

Let any tension in the legs just melt away.

Nice.

One of the most important steps in learning to listen to your body is to respect it.

So save your body.

Tell your body,

I love you,

Body.

I will take care of you always.

I trust in you to take care of me,

And I promise to listen and give you what I ask for.

I cherish you,

Body.

I will treat you with love and care for as long as we live together.

Breathing deeply,

Feel the power of this message that you have sent your body.

It is very important that you commit to removing any negative thoughts that you have about your body and replace them with positive ones,

And begin to notice the negative things that you commonly say about your body.

Now turn those thoughts around and say something positive instead.

You can do it.

Good.

You are making powerful progress towards loving your body.

Now place your hand over your heart and feel the sense of touch under your fingertips.

Notice how you can feel your heart beating.

Now tune into what your body is telling you.

Is it relaxed,

Tense,

Hungry,

Thirsty?

Notice if there is any part that is holding tension or is tight or stiff,

And just listen.

Now breathe in deeply and say to yourself,

I release any tension.

Keep breathing in and out.

I release any tension.

Now imagine again your breath is slowing down just a little bit,

Making you feel more relaxed.

Keep practicing listening to your body.

Take a deep breath in and release.

Continue checking in with your body for another minute.

Breathing in and out,

I release any tension.

Breathing deeply,

Feeling the power of this message that you've sent to your body,

I release any tension.

Breathing in and out slowly,

I release any tension.

Take a final deep breath in,

Holding it for a few seconds,

And slowly release this breath.

I release any tension.

Now slowly open your eyes,

Wiggle your fingers and your toes and come back to the present room that you're in.

And remember anytime throughout your day,

You can check in with yourself and take a breath and remember,

I release any tension.

Namaste.
