Greetings and welcome friends.
My name is Jessie and this meditation is about letting go.
Time to let go of what is no longer serving you.
Can you think of something that you would like to lovingly let go of?
Allow whatever comes to mind to come up,
Acknowledge it,
And allow it to be relieved.
Let's start by taking a few deep long breaths.
If you haven't already,
Close your eyes and bring your attention to your breath.
Inhale to a count of four and exhale to a count of six.
We're going to go a little bit longer on the exhales,
Releasing and letting go of what no longer serves us.
As we exhale,
Through the breath.
We will continue to focus on our breath and continue to breathe with an inhalation of four counts and an exhalation to six.
Push that breath out.
Continue to engage in this breathing technique and as you exhale,
Consider what you are letting go of.
Perhaps you are letting go of negative thought patterns or an unhealthy relationship.
Maybe you're letting go of limiting beliefs or expectations around an outcome.
Maybe you're letting go of self-sabotaging behavior or a job or an idea of something that you've had that now you question to be true.
We're going to take several breaths at this time.
As the thoughts come up,
Acknowledge them and gently let them go.
Remember to continue breathing.
As you intentionally exhale,
Remember to let go of what no longer is serving you.
By doing this,
You are making space and room and energy for what is ready to come in for you.
As you clear out on your exhales,
Feel the spaciousness in your body.
Can you feel that your energy has changed?
Are you beginning to feel a little bit lighter as you clear out old patterns and behaviors?
Now that your energy is clear and you have space for new thoughts,
Ideas,
And gifts from the universe to come in,
Imagine those on your inhales.
You can inhale peace and compassion for all.
You can inhale and focus your intention on self-love.
Or simply invite the universe to fill the space with whatever is for your highest good and for the highest good of all.
There is no right answer.
Remember,
This is whatever feels good to you in this space and time.
Remember,
You are exactly where you are meant to be,
Doing what you are meant to be doing.
Are you still breathing with intention?
Let's continue with a few more intentional breaths before closing out this practice.
