Greetings and welcome.

My name is Jessie and I am here to help you return to your heart.

Please join me for this short meditation in honor of cancer season.

First,

Find a quiet,

Cozy space,

Somewhere you feel safe to enjoy this practice for about the next 10 minutes.

Wrap yourself up in something soft if you would like,

Close your eyes,

And begin to settle in.

Take a slow breath in through your nose and a long exhale out through your mouth.

Let your breath draw you inward,

Gently like a tide returning you home.

Cancer season calls us back to the waters of our being,

To the feelings we have tucked away,

To the parts of ourselves still longing to be held.

With each inhale,

Imagine soft,

Silver,

Blue light entering your body,

Calm,

Cool,

Nurturing.

With each exhale,

Release tension from your chest,

Your shoulders,

Your jaw.

As we inhale,

We inhale comfort,

And as we exhale,

We exhale protection.

As we inhale,

We inhale self-trust,

And as we exhale,

We exhale fear.

Now,

Bring your attention to your heart center,

The space behind your breastbone.

Picture a small,

Flickering light there,

Like a candle in a seashell.

This is your inner sanctuary,

Your soul's sacred space.

Let the light grow warmer,

Steadier with each breath.

Feel the light illuminating the walls around your heart,

Melting any armor,

Softening any ache.

You are safe to feel here.

You are safe to be.

Now,

Gently ask yourself,

What does my heart need right now?

What emotions want to be witnessed,

Not fixed,

But just seen?

What part of me is ready to be nurtured and not judged?

Let any feelings arise,

Like waves in the water.

Let these feelings move through you and not over you.

No resistance,

No rush,

Just presence.

Cancer teaches us that emotion is not weakness.

It is wisdom in motion.

Your feelings are messages.

They are your intuition.

Your intuition is ancient.

Your heart is holy ground.

Place your hand over your chest.

Feel the warmth of your own hand.

Whisper to yourself or simply feel these words resonate.

I am safe within myself.

I am safe within myself.

I honor the truth of my feelings.

I honor the truth of my feelings.

I am allowed to soften and still be strong.

I am allowed to soften and still be strong.

Take a few more deep breaths now.

Imagine the silver blue light from your heart slowly expanding,

Filling your body,

Your aura,

Your space.

This is your soul shine.

This is your sanctuary.

Always within reach.

Take several more deep breaths now.

As you continue to allow the light flow through you,

The feelings flow through you,

Releasing what no longer serves you.

And allowing the light to fill any cracks you may feel.

What messages are your feelings sharing with you?

What is your intuition sharing with you?

Trust any messages that are coming your way.

Open your heart and return.

When you're ready,

Start by wiggling your fingers and then your toes.

Notice how your body feels now,

More grounded,

More open,

More tender.

Cancer season is a time to come home to yourself,

To your inner tides,

To your truth.

You are the ocean and the seashell.

Let yourself be held.

And may your soul shine.
