Welcome to the Health Rebellion Meditations.

This practice is for the moments that didn't go to plan,

When disappointment creeps in and you need to begin again with compassion and self-belief.

So let's start by settling into a comfortable position.

Let your eyes close or lower your gaze.

Rest your hands on your lap or place one hand over your heart if that feels supportive.

Take a slow,

Deep breath in through the nose and gently exhale through the mouth.

Again,

Inhale,

Feel your body expand.

Exhale,

Allow your muscles to soften.

Now,

Simply notice how you're feeling.

You don't need to analyze or judge.

Just let your awareness rest on whatever is present right now.

You might be feeling tired or tense.

Maybe frustrated or disappointed.

Or perhaps you're simply here to reconnect.

Whatever you're bringing with you is welcome.

Let's take this moment to practice a kind of rebellion that the world rarely speaks about.

It's radical,

Subversive,

Paradigm shifting.

I'm talking about the rebellion of self-compassion.

Because we live in a world that tells us to push harder,

To do better,

To be perfect.

But here and now you're choosing something else.

You're choosing to begin again without judgment.

Repeat these words in your mind or whisper them aloud like you would to a dear friend.

This moment is part of my process.

I am learning,

Not failing.

It's okay to begin again.

Let the words settle into your body and feel how they soften something within you.

Now say them again slowly.

Imagine them weaving into your breath,

Into your thoughts,

Into your cells.

This moment is part of my process.

I am learning,

Not failing.

It's okay to begin again.

A new message is being written.

I am strong.

I am peaceful.

I can trust myself.

One more time like an imprint into your being.

I am strong.

I am peaceful.

I can trust myself.

Feel that truth land.

Now picture a future moment.

One where you might feel triggered or overwhelmed,

Where you're tired and you're reaching for that old habit.

But something is different now.

You pause.

You breathe.

You remember this feeling.

You choose to act from self-respect.

This is how change happens.

Not through force,

But through kindness.

Through presence.

Through choice.

Come back to your breath now.

Inhale fully.

And exhale slowly.

As you return to the present moment.

To the space around you.

Thank yourself for offering this moment of care.

Let this feeling of compassion stay with you throughout your day.

You can come back to yourself anytime.

Remember,

There's no right or wrong way to do this.

This is your health rebellion.
