Hi!
Welcome to your Intimacy with Nature guided meditation and audio.
Feel free to take this audio with you as you find some green space or a park.
Maybe you find a hiking trail in the forest where you hike on some rocks in the desert.
Wherever you are,
Find some nature around you.
And if you'd like,
You can even use this audio as a way to connect to nature without necessarily being in nature.
If it's not accessible to you right now,
You can use your power of imagination and visualization to put yourself in the serene beauty of the outdoors.
So wherever you find yourself is perfect.
Begin to take big inhales and full exhales coming out of the thinking mind and into the body.
Take deep slow inhales breathing down deep into the lungs allowing the belly to rise with the inhale and fall with the exhale.
Gently the belly rises on the inhale.
Gently the belly pulls towards the spine on the exhale.
We'll take three more of those deep focused breaths inhaling fully and exhaling fully.
Now bring your awareness to your feet and as you begin to walk either on the forest floor or by a nearby park,
Wherever you are,
Begin to focus on each step bringing your awareness to the feet and how the feet are holding you up and connected to the earth at the same time.
Each step is independent of the other right foot and left foot.
Slow and conscious steps one by one feeling the support of Mother Earth beneath you.
Maybe you even begin to look down and see each purposeful step as you walk right foot heel and toe left foot heel and toe and wherever you are stop and look around.
Find the closest tree or maybe a green shrub.
Can you be off into the distance or it could be close by.
Pause.
Look at the tree.
Keep breathing.
Full inhales and full exhales.
Breathing in the fresh air that is provided to you by the trees.
Imagine breathing in life force energy and air of the tree.
Maybe you close your eyes and feel the energy of the tree and you listen to what the tree has to tell you.
What does the tree have to teach you about stability,
Strength,
And groundedness?
Breathe in the medicine and the wisdom of the tree.
As you pause,
Still reflecting about the beauty and magnificence of the tree,
Ask Father Tree what can you teach me and pause and listen.
Maybe you prefer to go sit by the tree if it's close by and use its sturdy trunk to help support your back.
If you'd like you can continue to walk being aware of the other things around you now.
Being in a heightened state of awareness in a deep deep reverence and presence to the nature,
The beauty around you.
Continue to breathe full inhales and full exhales.
Allow the intimacy of the breath to bathe every cell of your being.
Allow the nature around you to fill you with peace and harmony and joy.
Trusting the medicine of nature.
Draw your attention now to the animals around you.
It could be a bird,
A squirrel,
An ant,
Maybe another insect.
Just draw your awareness to the animal around you and pick one to stare at for as long as you can and close your eyes and be that animal.
What shape,
Color,
Or movements is this animal doing?
Become that animal in all its form.
Imagine you are that animal.
Then ask yourself,
What is this animal here to teach me?
What wisdom does this animal have to share?
Keep breathing deep inhales,
Full exhales,
Finding the intimacy with the breath and now finding the intimacy with this animal.
Allow the spirit of the animal to fill you up as you continue to make your steps forward one after the other.
Feeling fully alive,
Embodied,
And present in this moment.
The spirit of the animal,
The nature all around you is you.
As you continue to walk,
Scan the environment and look for something green.
A blade of grass,
A leaf on a tree,
A weed growing from the earth.
Breathe and notice how that shade of green is different or maybe similar to the shades of green around it.
Keep walking and scan for a different color,
A yellow dandelion,
A pink wildflower,
Maybe a colorful hummingbird.
Keep walking and noticing the different colors of nature,
Always remembering to come back to the breath and feeling your feet being held by the earth.
Maybe you walk by a puddle or a pond or a creek.
You can stop and think the water.
You can bathe in this water,
Rinsing and cleansing what no longer serves you,
Placing your hands or your feet in the water.
Maybe you just pause and listen to the flow of the water and you ask,
Water,
What do you have to teach me?
You find gratitude for the water and you thank the water for giving us life.
Keep walking and giving gratitude for all that you see,
Looking up,
Thanking the sun or the clouds,
Staying present and connected to your breath and all that nature has to offer,
Feeling the fresh air or breeze on your skin.
Once again,
Thanking Gaia,
The Great Mother Earth.
Listen deeply to the sounds around you,
The breeze rustling the leaves,
Some trees,
The songs of the birds,
The movement of water,
A squirrel in the shrubs.
Allow whatever sounds you hear and wash over you,
Allowing you to drop into further stillness and even more presence.
You are exactly where you need to be,
Right here,
Right now,
In nature,
Having an intimate experience of yourself,
Not just in nature but of nature,
Being one with all that surrounds you.
You are the birds and the trees,
The sounds and the flowers.
Continue your walk in the woods for as long as you would like,
Continue your walk in the park where your visualization,
Always coming back to the breath and knowing you are nature.
It is in you and continuing to form trust and a deep bond with everything outdoors.
