Welcome to Luminous Mind Meditations.
I would like to invite you to join me on this journey to your complete relaxation,
To bring yourself to your full comfort,
Undisturbed from any outside stimuli.
Begin by finding a comfortable position,
Either seated or lying down,
Allowing your hands to rest loosely at your sides,
Your shoulders softening with the simple act of being right here in this moment.
Take a deep,
Slow breath in,
And letting the rhythm of your breath start to guide you inward,
Filling your lungs with fresh,
Cleansing air of a wave of relaxation spreading from the top of your head,
Smoothing any of those feelings of stress or discomfort,
Carrying you deeper into this peaceful state of relaxation,
Then comfortably,
At a relaxed pace,
Allowing each breath.
Imagine you are standing at the edge of a tranquil forest,
Brushing against your skin like a soft whisper.
As you begin to walk forward along the narrow path,
Perhaps you can hear the distant murmur of a stream.
The songs of birds echo lightly between the trees,
As if the forest itself is greeting you,
Welcoming you deeper into its calm tranquility.
The path leads you now to a small clearing bathed in warm sunlight.
In the center is a smooth,
Flat stone,
Almost like a natural seat waiting for you.
You approach it and sit alone to it,
Feeling its comforting warmth beneath you.
The air feels even more peaceful,
As though time slows down around you.
With each exhale,
Any remaining tension flows down and away your legs,
Through the stone,
And into the soft earth beneath you.
The earth absorbs anything you no longer need,
Returning you only to calm.
In this clearing,
You notice a soft,
Glowing light beginning to form in front of you.
It hovers just above your chest,
And you feel a gentle warmth move through you.
It washes away any old tension,
Worry.
What remains is stillness.
What remains is a deep knowing that you are safe,
Whole.
Now begin to imagine the golden light slowly drawing back inward,
As the edge of the forest,
Carrying this renewed peace with you.
And as you reach the threshold of your return,
Feeling the surface beneath you,
Feel your hands,
Your feet,
And the weight of your body resting comfortably.
