Welcome to this series of Reflection Tracks.

In this series I'll talk about sleep in a different way and create space for insight and reflection for you so that you can see something new.

Believe me,

I understand how debilitating lack of sleep can be and I want you to know there is a way through because a quiet mind is your default state.

So make yourself a little more comfortable.

Leave everything behind.

Let go of expectations.

Let go of judgement.

There's nowhere to go.

Nowhere you need to be.

Allow yourself the gift of these few moments.

If you feel comfortable to do so,

Close your eyes or lower your gaze.

Let your breathing fall into a deep rhythmic pattern.

There's nothing to attend to.

Nothing to do.

Nowhere to be.

The journey to a good night's sleep starts within.

Embracing the calm to welcome sweet dreams.

Take a moment to let the quotes sink in.

The journey to a good night's sleep starts within.

Embracing the calm to welcome sweet dreams.

Allow the words to wash over you,

Feeling their meaning and their energy.

What does the quote mean to you?

Reflect on the journey to a good night's sleep and how it begins within.

How do you interpret the idea of embracing inner calm?

Take a moment to reflect on these questions.

How do you feel right now?

Are you relaxed,

Tense or somewhere in between?

Pay attention to your physical sensations and your emotions.

And notice any areas in your body that may be holding tension.

Where in your life is this quote true?

Think about moments when finding inner calm has led you to peace or rest.

It could be during meditation,

A quiet walk in nature or simply sitting in stillness.

Reflect on these instances and recognise their importance.

What resistance do you have to embracing inner calm?

Maybe it's the busyness of your day-to-day life,

Stress from work or personal challenges.

Acknowledge any barriers that make it difficult for you to find calmness within.

If it pleases you,

Consider journaling about your thoughts and feelings.

Writing can be a powerful tool to explore your inner world.

It's also valid to just relax and listen to the music.

Our aim is towards a quieter mind.

I'll give you a bit of time to write or reflect.

I'll share a personal story that illustrates the meaning of this quote to me.

During the time when I struggled with sleep and my mind was constantly racing,

Filled with worries and tasks.

Despite trying various methods to fall asleep,

Nothing seemed to work.

One evening I decided to take a different approach.

Instead of focusing on falling asleep,

I focused on finding inner calm.

I spent a few minutes on my breathing.

Focusing my breath and letting go of the day's stress.

Breathing in love,

Breathing out tension.

I thought about the things I was grateful for.

I told myself that there was nothing to do right now.

Gradually,

I felt a sense of peace wash over me.

That night I slept better than I had in months.

The experience taught me that true rest begins with inner tranquility.

Take a moment to reflect on this story.

Does it change how you view the quote?

Do you see the connection between inner calm and a good night's sleep more clearly now?

Think about your own experiences and how finding peace within has impacted your life.

I'll give you another moment to reflect and internalize these thoughts.

Please don't worry if you can't see anything new right now.

You've already opened your mind to new possibilities and insight will follow in time.

If you feel called to go deeper into this practice,

Consider exploring my course.

Awakening Intuition for Busy People.

Listening to this can help you tune into your inner guide and recognize when you need to rest.

By cultivating this awareness,

You can achieve the peaceful mind that leads to peaceful sleep.

The course will help you to nurture your inner tranquility even amidst a busy life.

Thank you for joining me in this reflection.

Remember the journey to a good night's sleep starts within.

Embrace your inner calm and welcome sweet dreams.

Lots of love.
