Hello.
And welcome.
Thank you for taking this time for yourself.
Before we begin.
.
.
Find a position that works.
Feels comfortable.
And feels supportive.
You might be sitting in a chair.
Resting on a cushion or lying down.
Be nice and comfortable.
And allow.
Your hands to rest naturally.
And your shoulders.
To setu.
And if it feels comfortable for you.
Gently.
Close your eyes.
Have you ever noticed that?
Some of your clearest moments arrive when You've stopped trying so hard.
Perhaps you've been walking through the countryside or watching rain up against a window sitting quietly with a morning cup of tea.
Or simply pausing for a moment between one part of your day.
And the next.
And suddenly.
Without effort.
Something starts to become clearer,
An answer appears.
A feeling settles.
Perspective shifts.
We often think wisdom comes from Searching harder.
Trying harder.
Generally just doing more.
Yet some of life's deepest insights arrive.
When we create enough space to really hear them.
See you.
For the next little while.
Nothing needs to be solved.
Nothing needs to be figured out.
Nothing needs to be improved.
You my friend are simply invited.
To rest.
And perhaps discover.
What remains.
When the rush in.
Stopes.
The rest.
Is.
Wisdom.
Begin by noticing your breath,
Not changing it,
Not controlling it.
Simply noticing.
Breathing in,
Breathing out.
The body already knows how to breathe.
So there is nothing.
You need to do.
Notice the places where your body is making contact with the surface beneath you.
The weight of your body being supported.
The pressure.
Beneath your feet.
Or your legs and back.
Your shoulders,
And just.
Allow yourself.
To be held by gravity.
Nothing for you to carry right now.
As you continue breathing naturally.
Imagine everything you have been carrying today.
Is gathered.
Around you.
Lands.
Responsibilities.
Questions.
Any emails or appointments.
Conversations.
May be decisions waiting to be made.
None of these things are wrong,
None of them.
Need to disappear.
Yet.
For the next little while.
They don't need your attention.
Imagine.
Placing them.
Beside you.
Not to throw them away.
Simply setting them down for the time being.
You can easily return to them later.
If needed.
Take a slow breath in.
.
.
And a long breath out.
Notice.
Whether your body responds to that invitation.
Perhaps.
.
.
There are worries that you have been carrying.
Perhaps.
There are certain situations that feel unfinished,
Maybe there are questions that— Don't yet.
Have answers.
See if you can place all of those beside you as well just for now.
Notice how it feels when nothing is being fixed.
Nothing is being chased nothing is being forced.
There is just,
This breath,
This moment.
This.
Experience.
Exactly.
As it is.
Thoughts may still come and go.
That is perfectly natural.
The mind thinks.
That is what minds do.
You don't need to stop thought.
But you don't need to follow them either.
Imagine sitting beside a quiet path,
Thoughts pass by like walkers travelling in either direction.
You notice them.
Then.
You allow them to continue on their way.
Bring your awareness back,
To the breathing.
The gentoo rise.
And the Gentoo Fool.
The simple rhythm.
That has accompanied you.
Since the day you were born.
You rest here.
Consider the possibility.
That you don't need an answer right now.
You don't need.
Certainty right now.
You don't need a plan right now.
You only need.
This moment.
This.
This.
See.
And this.
Body.
Allow your awareness to widen.
Noticing the space around your thoughts.
The space around your feelings.
The space around.
Your experiences.
.
.
Like the sky surrounding drifting clouds.
The sky doesn't struggle.
With the clouds.
It simply allows.
The clouds to move through.
Rest here.
For a few moments.
Nothing to achieve.
Nowhere else to be.
Nothing.
Is missing.
Notice how the breath.
.
.
Continues.
.
.
The body continues.
Notice how.
.
.
Life.
Continues.
Without effort.
Without.
Pushing.
Without.
Rushing.
Perhaps.
.
.
Wisdom.
Isn't always a voice giving answers.
Perhaps wisdom.
It's the.
.
.
Silent knowing.
That appears when.
We stop.
Demanding answers.
Perhaps wisdom is found in.
These simple moments.
Of presence.
Breath.
That possibility.
Begin bringing awareness back to the room around you now.
Notice the sounds nearby.
The temperature of the air against your skin.
The support.
Beneath your body.
Taking a slightly deeper breath.
.
.
And another.
Gently inviting movement back into your fingers.
Your toes.
Perhaps rolling your shoulders.
And having a nice stretch if that feels good for you.
As you continue.
With your day.
Or evening.
Remember.
That you don't always have to search for wisdom.
Sometimes wisdom arrives.
When you pause.
Long enough.
To listen.
Thank you so much for choosing to share this time with me.
And whenever you're ready.
If you haven't done so already.
Gently.
Open your eyes.
Have a beautiful rest of your day.
Go in peace.
Namaste.
