Hello and welcome back to day four.

Today we are going to reflect on Rumi's poem Out Beyond Ideas.

We are going to focus on one of Rumi's most quoted lines a simple invitation that cuts through the noise of right and wrong and opens us to deeper peace.

There is a place beyond judgement beyond taking sides beyond needing to be right.

This practice can help us rest in that space even for a little while.

Take a breath now and let yourself begin to gently soften.

Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing there is a field.

I'll meet you there.

When the soul lies down in that grass the world is too full to speak of.

Words,

Even the phrase each other doesn't make sense anymore.

We spend so much energy dividing our experience judging what's good or bad right or wrong But Rumi reminds us there is another way a field of stillness where none of that even matters where just presence is enough.

With that in mind,

Today's meditation is about resting there not needing to fix or label anything just breathing just being.

Begin with a steady,

Slow breath.

Inhale and exhale.

Inhale gently let the body soften.

Now imagine a wide open field golden grass beneath you sky up above you there are no boundaries no fences just open space.

This is the field Rumi speaks of beyond ideas of right and wrong.

With each breath feel yourself arriving here nothing to fix nothing to figure out just rest.

Let judgements come and let them pass you don't have to argue with them just let them float away like clouds.

Return to the breath return to that field.

Now bring to mind something that you have been judging yourself another a situation but don't engage with the story just hold it gently in this field let it rest too.

You are not your thoughts you are the one who watches the one who breathes you are the one who holds space.

There is nothing to prove here you are welcome and you are enough let your body feel and receive that fact.

Now return to the image of the field feel the peace of it the freedom know that you can now return here anytime.

Rumi says out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing I will meet you there let that be your invitation today to meet yourself and others in presence in kindness in the field beyond judgement.

Thank you so much for joining me once again today join me tomorrow for day 5 where we will be looking at Rumi's poem Dance when you're broken open until then have a beautiful rest of your day go in peace Namaste
