In this meditation, we will explore what it is like to acknowledge loss of control with compassion. Through gentle visualization, you’ll explore what it is like to be in a situation where you have no control, yet help is present. You do not have to cope with the situation alone. Asking or accepting help is not weakness; it is wisdom.

Hi and welcome to today's meditation,

The Breaking Point,

I Can't Stop.

I'm going to invite you just to close your eyes and just imagine a river.

The current is strong.

You tell yourself that you're in control,

But you feel the force pulling you.

Breathe that in.

See what sensations are present for you.

Picture yourself in this river.

You try to resist it,

But the pull is undeniable.

What happens when you stop fighting it?

When you simply let go,

Allow yourself to be,

And just start to observe what's happening.

What do you feel in your body?

Now,

Imagine a helping hand reaching towards you.

It is there.

It's ready.

It's waiting.

Can you allow yourself to reach for that helping hand?

Can you picture yourself accepting the help with gratitude,

With appreciation?

Allow that just to soak in a little bit more.

Feel the sensations in your body.

Where are they?

Breathe in deeply,

And just allow yourself to soak a little bit deeper into the moment,

To feel it,

To appreciate it.

For today,

Simply hold this thought.

What if I didn't have to do this alone?

What if there's help out there for me?

What would it be like if I accepted the help?

What would it be like to acknowledge that asking for help or accepting help is not weakness,

It's wisdom.

Acknowledging that you're at your breaking point,

And you need help,

Because you can't stop on your own.

What would happen if you embrace this thought today?

What if I didn't have to do it alone?

What if there's help out there for me?

Am I willing to accept help?

Thank you for tuning in,

And goodbye for now.
