Welcome to the 11th of our 21-day meditation challenge for weight loss.
Today's focus is on releasing negative thoughts.
Our minds can sometimes become cluttered with negativity which can hinder our progress and affect our overall well-being.
This meditation will help you let go of those negative thoughts and create space for positivity and growth.
Find a comfortable seated position either on a chair with your feet flat on the ground or cross the leg on a cushion.
Allow your spine to be straight but relaxed and rest your hands gently on your knees or in your lap.
Close your eyes and take a deep breath in through your nose filling your lungs completely.
Hold a breath for a moment then exhale slowly through your mouth releasing any tension.
Repeat this two more times each time feeling more relaxed and centered.
Now bring your awareness to your mind and notice any negativity thoughts that may be present.
This could be self-criticisms,
Doubts or worries that have been weighing you down.
Without judgment simply observe these thoughts as they arise.
Acknowledge them but don't engage with them.
Imagine them as a clouds passing through the sky of your mind.
Temporary and fleeting.
As you continue to breathe deeply imagine that each exhale is an opportunity to release a negativity thought.
With each breath out let go of one thought and watching it dissolve and disappear like a cloud fading into the clear blue sky.
If the same thought returns that's okay.
Gently release it again with your next exhale.
Continue this process feeling lighter and more at peace with each breath.
Now imagine filling the space left by those release thoughts with positivity and light.
As you inhale breathe in thoughts of a self-love confidence and peace.
Feel this positivity thoughts filling your mind and heart.
Replacing the negativity with warmth and light.
Setting and intention for positivity.
Just breathe in and out.
Now that you have released negativity and take a moment to set intention to cultivate a positivity in your thoughts and actions.
It might be something like I choose to focus on the positive and let go of the negative or I fill my mind with thoughts that support my growth and well-being.
Silently repeat your intention to yourself letting it resonate throughout your entire being.
Feel this intention guiding you as you move through your day.
Take a final deep breath in filling your body with the positivity and the light you have a cultivated during this practice.
Exhale slowly bringing your awareness back to the present moment.
Gently wiggle your fingers and toes.
Stretch if you need to.
When you are ready open your eyes feeling lighter more positive and ready to continue your journey with a clear and peaceful mind.
Thank yourself for dedicating this time to release negativity and embrace positivity.
