In this meditation, you’ll be guided through the gentle practice of letting go—of softening your grip on what has been weighing heavily on your heart. Through breath, imagery, and truth-telling, you’ll be invited to lay down what no longer serves you while remembering that love and meaning remain. This practice is about creating space within yourself for freedom, renewal, and the quiet trust that life can hold you, even as you release. Music for this meditation is "31 Min. Today,

We will be entering into the tender practice of letting go.

This is not a practice of forcing yourself to forget,

It's not about pushing love away or erasing what has mattered to you.

Instead,

We will concentrate on loosening our grip,

On softening the places in us that are clenched in fear,

Or in longing,

Or in the ache of holding on.

We will explore what it feels like to lay down the weight you've been carrying.

We'll remember together that letting go is not losing,

It is creating space.

It is learning to trust that life can hold you.

Even when you release what you thought you could not live without.

As we move through this time,

You will be guided to see what is ready to be set down.

You will be reminded that love does not vanish when you release your hold.

You will be invited into a lighter,

Freer way of breathing,

Of being,

Of moving into the next chapter of your life.

Letting go is not the end of love,

It is the beginning of freedom.

It is the beginning of opening your hands so that what is truly meant for you can find its way in.

So as you listen,

Allow yourself to rest,

Allow yourself to feel,

And allow yourself to be gently held in the truth that you do not have to carry it all anymore.

So as we begin,

Take a deep breath in.

As you exhale,

Feel the weight of your body being held by the ground beneath you.

There is nothing for you to carry right now.

Nothing for you to solve.

Nothing for you to be for anyone.

You are here to lay it all down.

Close your eyes.

Notice the rise and fall of your breath.

Notice the way your heart continues its steady rhythm,

Faithfully keeping you alive.

Let your shoulders soften.

Let your jaw release.

Let your hands rest gently as though they have been carrying a weight far too long.

And allow yourself in this moment to be undone,

Not broken,

Not lost,

But undone,

Like the unraveling of a knot,

Like the loosening of a tightrope.

So often we believe that letting go means losing.

We think it means erasing love,

Erasing a memory,

Erasing what has mattered to us.

But letting go is not erasure.

It is not forgetting.

Letting go is an opening.

It is making space for life to keep moving through you.

What you release is not love.

What you release is the grasping,

The clenching,

The ache of trying to hold what no longer wishes to be held.

And so this practice is not about banishing your past.

It is about learning to trust that what has shaped you is already living inside of you.

It can never be taken.

It can never be lost.

Imagine yourself standing in a quiet forest.

The trees are tall,

Rooted deep in the earth.

There is a path before you.

In your hands,

You are carrying a heavy bundle.

This bundle is filled with the memories,

The stories,

The hopes you've been holding on to.

It's heavy.

It presses into your shoulders.

And though you love what is inside it,

You know it has been too much to carry.

Take a deep breath now.

And with an exhale,

Imagine yourself kneeling down on the forest floor.

You set the bundle gently on the ground.

You do not have to throw it away.

You only need to release the weight of carrying.

See yourself stepping back,

Hands now empty,

Chest open,

And arms free.

Notice how your body feels when it is no longer gripping,

No longer burdened.

Notice the space inside of you that begins to expand.

And hear the whisper of the forest.

You are not what you carry.

You are the one who breathes.

The one who lives.

The one who continues on.

Letting go does not mean you stop loving.

Love is not confined to a form,

Or to a single person,

Or to one season of life.

Love is water.

It changes shape.

It moves.

It flows.

It finds its way.

It lives in you now.

Not because you've held tightly,

But because you dared to love at all.

Nothing can erase that.

Nothing can undo what has been woven into the fabric of who you are.

So you are not losing.

You are transforming.

You are making space for what is next to find.

Now,

Bring your attention back to the breath.

Inhale deeply,

Drawing in light,

Warmth,

And gentleness.

Exhale slowly,

Releasing heaviness,

Releasing the urge to grip.

Again,

Inhale.

Feel your chest rise.

Exhale,

And let the ground take what you no longer need to hold.

And silently,

Or out loud,

Repeat after me,

I am safe to release.

I am not defined by what is left.

I carry only what is meant for me.

Love remains even as I let go.

My hands are freed to receive again.

Allow these words to wash through you like waves,

Softening every corner of resistance.

I am safe to release.

I am not defined by what is left.

I carry only what is meant for me.

Love remains even as I let go.

My hands are free to receive again.

Imagine yourself now standing at the edge of a wide open field.

The horizon stretches endlessly,

Kissed by the light of a rising sun.

You are lighter.

You are freer.

You are no longer bent beneath the weight of what you've carried.

This is the gift of letting go.

Not loss,

But freedom.

Not emptiness,

But space for new life to arrive.

Take a final deep breath.

As you exhale,

Whisper gently to yourself,

I trust the unfolding.

I trust life to meet me here.
